It was another Saturday night at the Bolton house

There sat Troy and Gabriella, best friends before they could even speak

"This movie is so lame" Annoyed Troy stated turning to Gabriella

"Oh be quiet, I watch all the movies you like" He was about to speak when he realized that she was right so he just lied back on the couch

Gabriella smiled at him before turning back to the television screen to watch the movie

Troy loved his best friend; he wouldn't know what he would ever do without her she was basically his everything, all he ever needed

Gabriella's cell phone suddenly rang and he knew it could only be one person, Anthony.

Anthony was Gabriella's boyfriend and he hated me, he always said I got in the way of them and I wanted Gabriella for myself.

"Hey there" I could fell Gabriella's smile though she was turned in the other direction

"Yeah, meet me near the park I'll be there soon" They said their 'I love yous' and Gabriella hung up the phone

"Let me guess, movie night interrupted again?" Gabriella just stared at me rolling her eyes

"Troy, I'm allowed to have other people in my life not just you" She sighed as she grabbed her jacket quickly putting it on

"I understand that" I said as I was now standing up in front of her "But, he's always hurting you and you just keep going back for more" Anthony was the kind of guy who wants nothing but sex and is always cheating with other girls

She turned away from me walking towards the door

"Go, just don't come crying to me when he hurts you again" I know that was harsh but, I had to say it. She deserves so much better than some jerk always pushing her around

Instead of fighting back she just walked out the door slamming it as she finally got out

I know I shouldn't have said that to her but that guy is not for her, she needs a good guy in her life not the cheaters, the liars… maybe someday she'll figure that out, maybe not.

I began walking up to my room; once I was in I closed the door going over to lie on my bed

I was too tired to get back up to get a shower before I decided to go to bed and before I knew it I was already passed out on the bed

I woke up feeling my cell phone vibrate through the pocket of my blue jeans, it was Gabriella

"I thought you were mad at me..." I managed to get out following with a long yawn

Gabriella was crying, or that's what it sounds like

"Gabi, are you alright?" It was clear now, I heard her begin to sob more

"T-Troy..." She sounded hurt, heartbroken and physically hurt

"GABI! Where are you?"

"Th-The park." She finally said before I heard the phone hang up on the other end

"Gabi?"

I was downstairs and out the door in seconds running towards the park to find Gabriella lying there at the side of the road then I was quickly at her side

My ear was at her heart, her heartbeat was slowing. 'I can't lose her, no not now.' Was all that was running through my head

I grabbed my phone dialing 911

"911, what'd your emergency?"

"My best friend.. She's barely breathing... she's not conscious"

"Where are you, so we can send someone out for her"

"The park, The park down on Bay Street"

"Alright, please stay on the line before until someone arrives"

I kept her tightly in my arms rubbing her back softly

"Gabi... Please stay with me... Please"
