This goes to those two guys in 1st period who looked at me funny when I asked them for a random word but said one anyway. XD
When they said "microscopic" and "ponder", I got the idea faster than the Colonel could snap. I was like 'This is so perfect.'
On with the story!
A scientist looked through her microscope to study a strange specimen of bacteria. She adjusted with the knobs on the sides until the lens came into focus.
"Fascinating..." she whispered to herself as she looked at the microorganisms that had an interesting shape she'd never found before.
She lightly pushed with her finger the glass that contained her sample, moving it a few millimeters, then gasped and drew away from the viewer.
Did... Did she really just see that?
She warily moved back towards the microscope and looked in again.
Just barely within her view, among the bacteria, there was something that appeared to be a person. One with blonde hair and a red, furious face. It seemed to be shaking its fist in anger and throwing insults at her.
"A microscopic human..." She stared incredulously at her sample, trying to fully comprehend what she was seeing. She pondered on what she knew to be possible and impossible, wondering what was truly beyond the capacity of humans...
Even with his lungs of steel, the scientist did not hear Edward shout at her, "HEY! WHO ARE YOU CALLING SMALLER THAN A SINGLE-CELLED ORGANISM?!"
Ironic I wrote this just a few days after "Rush". XD
Happy Early Summer Break! K bai!
