Author Note: Welcome to my second one take Monday storyline. I decided to write this after the February 19th episode of NCIS:LA. I am still shocked that Joelle was a CIA agent.
Callen could not believe what his boss just said. He should have known that she was too good to be true but he trusted her. He could not believe that Sam knew that she was friends with another CIA. He knew that he needed to talk to Michelle about her friend being in the CIA and why she set him up. Callen pulled Joelle into the other room.
"What the heck were you thinking? Why did you do it?" He asked her.
"Callen, I had no choice but I really did fall for you and that is why I needed to break up with you. I did not mean to hurt you." Joelle responded to him.
"Why did you do it?" Callen repeated again to her.
"I did not have a choice. I had an op to do and I am sure that you remember that you were once an CIA operative and would have done that same thing." Joelle responded to him.
"Don't you dare compare me to you. I would never do that to you or anyone else." Callen responded to her before leaving the room.
Callen knew that he was pissed off about this. He just did not want to take it out on her. He walked to his car and headed to the headquarters. Sam knew that his friend was upset about Joelle's betrayal but did not know what he would do. He walked into the room.
"Callen, do you want to talk?" Sam asked his friend.
"No, I do not want to talk. I want to figure out why she did what she did." Callen responded to him. "I need to talk to Michelle to see if she knew anything about this."
"No, that is not fair to my wife." Sam responded to him.
"Sam, The CIA is on this with us. They went after us. We need to know if Michelle knows anything about this." Callen responded to his friend.
"I will talk to her." Sam responded to his friend.
