Fireworks
A girl screaming the words 'let go of me' could be heard throughout the castle with absolute clarity by every vampire. I was in the throne room with Aro, Marcus, and Cauis when Jane and Demetri walked in holding a young girl, wearing one of our guard robes. "Let go of me, you stupid bloodsuckers!" Her words pissed Jane off enough that she was about to use her gift on the girl, but Aro stopped her. "Jane. Let her go." Jane and Demetri dropped her with enough force that something in a fragile human body could have been damaged, but she picked herself up, and dusted off. "Deary, take off the hood, and tell us how you know what we are. Or I will be forced to kill you." She took off her hood, and said "My name is Destiny." That's all I heard of what she said, for when I saw her face and heard her voice, her scent hit my nose I knew then that she was my blood singer. "Dearest Destiny, since you will not tell us how you know, I will be forced to kill you. Demetri." I stepped out from behind Cauis' chair and saw the look in his eyes, and before he could touch her I had her in my arms, and as far away from him as the tiny room would let me go. "Alec, son, what are you doing?" Marcus asked. "Father, her blood calls for me. I have found her." Aro walked over, and offered his hand. I took it, and showed him that I was telling the truth. "Brothers, Alec has found his mate. A ceremony is in order to be held on the eve of our celebration. Things are to be planned. Go!"
*Destiny's PoV*
Two nights of being locked in a room, with nowhere to go, I sat at the window and watched the people in town wonder from shop to shop during the day and the vampire wonder through the streets at night. On the eve of the Volturi celebration at twelve midnight when the palazzo dei prior (the clock tower) stuck the hour, I was changed, and was then officially Mrs. Alec Volturi. As I opened my blood red and thirsty eyes I was outside, and in my loves arms. 'Good morning, Beautiful' softly started playing over the surround sound system, and fireworks shot into the air. Alec let go of me, bent down in a bow, put out his hand, and asked if I would dance with him. As we danced Alec asked if I would like to go back into the castle to have my first meal as his wife, and a newborn vampire.
*50 years later*
Every year at midnight on Saint Marcus Day, Alec would pick me up, take me outside and ask me to dance with him to the sound of 'Good Morning, Beautiful.' Brother Aro made sure that every year at that hour the fireworks and music played just for us.
"Mrs. Volturi, may I have this dance?", "Of course you may Mr. Volturi." He pulled me to him, and whispered in my ear "I love you Destiny, I will forever. I've had an amazing 50 years with you." He spun me around, and then pulled me back to him. "I too love you Alec, and will forever. 50 years have flown by, I can't wait for the next 50.","Me too, my little Destiny. Let us go in, and have a feast." I took his offered hand, and we disappeared in the alleyway next to the clock tower, not to be seen again until the next year.
