Cloud stared at the words beneath the Meteor memorial, his eyes slowly drifting upwards to the Angle statue at the top. He swallowed heavily and closed his eyes, fighting hard against the emotions running through his head. He needed to get out. He needed to get away from everyone. He looked at the words again and scoffed.
"They say it now but, do they really remember?" he muttered. "Will they still remember your name in years to come or will you just be another forgotten victim?"
It was apparent to him that a lot of people didn't remember who Aerith was. Avalanche, The Turks and Marlene seemed to be the only ones determined to keep her memory alive. His fingers brushed tenderly over the inscription as a long sigh escaped him.
"I'll never forget you Aerith."
