The sea chariot came to a halt, and I could hear voices, but couldn't make out what they were saying. I held my breath, out of nervous, and to keep the smell of kelp and tuna fish out of my nose. Though I don't know what was worse, the smell or Hali's knee being in my ribs the whole time. I took a breathe again, which I regretted immediately.
What seemed like hours later, the chariot stopped again, and I heard more voices and movement of boxes and other things. Then it was my stinky hiding spot's turn to be moved. I listened to what I think was a trumpet. I heard muffled yells, and after a couple of minutes, I risked peeking out of the crate. We were in the kitchen, and it was empty but for platters of food and bottles of wine.
I grabbed an apple and took a big bite. Hope nobody minds if I help myself. I swam out of the kitchen and peeked around the corner. Nobody was in sight.
"Where was everyone?" Hali asked. "They had guards everywhere since Oceanus took the throne."

"Nobody's going to be guarding this place if he thinks we're dead, and the others are in a cell somewhere," I said.
We swam around the hallways, peeking out from every corner, and taking bites. After the fifteenth hallway, I finally saw someone. It was the guard captain who turns sides, once Oceanus had the trident. He was talking to a few more guards, and I recognize one of them. Delta.
He was covered in bruises and cuts. His battle scars from that fight at the cavern. I grabbed Hali's shoulder in support. He's been taring himself up, worrying for his father's safety. I can't blame him either. Alex and Ales are on my mind too. Along with Morris, Harry, and Poseidon.

I hope they're all okay, and that Morris hadn't done anything stupid when we weren't looking. But then again, that would be just like him to do that.
