Cassandra Ames sat on the edge of her bed brushing out her medium length brown hair, as she stared out her bedside window. "He didn't come home last night." She said as a couple of tears streaked down her pale cheek.
Casey felt like she didn't know her husband Jeff anymore it was lie after lie this would be the 6 night in a row he didn't come home and it was getting harder and harder to believe him if Casey didn't know any better she would say he was having an affair.
"Mommy!! Mommy!!, Come quick." Elsbeth called. "its Daddy look what he bought me."
As soon as Cassandra herd her five year daughter calling her she quickly wiped her tears and ran down the stairs setting down her brush on the bed.
"Coming sweet heart" Casey screamed running down the stairs. As soon as she hit the last step she spotted her daughter and husband standing by the kitchen counter.
Casey went over to Elsbeth ignoring Jeff. Her eyes were red and swollen it was obvious she had been crying. "Look mommy... Look." Elsbeth looked up at her mother and instantly knew something was wrong. She reached over and hugged her tightly Casey could feel the hot tears swelling up in her face as Elsbeth hugged her. "What's wrong Mommy? Did I do something wrong?" Elsbeth asked in a scared tiny voice.
"No... No angel," Casey said softly. "Sweetheart would you mind going over to your grandpa's room and show him what your DAD bought you."
Elsbeth nodded her head and quickly grabbed the doll house from the counter and ran to her Grandpa's room.
