Lucius Malfoy strode into the bright meeting room of the board of governors. It was a nice place; with ten comfy chairs all facing one chair, higher and more exquisite than the rest. It would have an overall pleasant effect, if all the men and women hadn't been muttering tensely to one another. As Lucius swept in, he sat down on the ornate chair.

"As you all know, distress has been sweeping Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." Lucius stated. Some men and women shifted uncomfortably in their overstuffed chairs. "I think this is because of Albus Dumbledore." Exasperated and bemused looks were pointed at Lucius. He felt a prickle of annoyance, even though it was well known among the governors he hated "muggle-loving fools" and blood traitors. "He has not put enough security around the school, and how do we really know that he really has been patrolling the corridors at ni-" He stopped. "Where is Mr. Flint?" he asked slowly.

"Mr. Flint had to go visit his son after a fatal bludger attack." A grim witch in bottle green answered. Lucius cursed under his breath. Mr. Nathaniel Flint was the most influential of all the governors. Without his help, Lucius' plan would fail. Oh, well. Mr. Malfoy would try the backup plan. He continued.

"Because of the insufficient security, there has been a double attack today." More mutterings. Then-

"Lucius, Lucius, this can't be true! This is Dumbledore we're talking about!" a wispy little wizard cried. This time, Lucius lost his patience.

"If you don't sign this paper-" he held up the release form. "Then I will curse you and your families!" A ringing silence followed. Then, he passed around the form, the form that would release Albus Dumbledore from being headmaster, and everyone quietly signed the piece of parchment. Lucius took it in his hand, and triumphantly he went from the room, his cold smile marring his haughty features.
