Redemption
A poem for Gaara
by: Bristy Thomas aka: Hincaru
I don't know if "destiny" is true,
and I don't know if "fate" exists.
I don't care what life means to you.
I'll do my speaking with my fists.
Gourd of sand
heart of fury
the demon's taking..
hurry, hurry!
If my existence is only based
on the lives I gladly take.
Then your life you'll have to give.
Give me my only chance to live.
I was raised by hate,
hate taken form.
So my "fate"
is slowly worn.
So if "fate" does exist,
and I've damned myself with my fists,
I'll live my life the way I have,
by killing you without looking back.
It's true I long for something more,
but "destiny" won't make it so.
Yes, my soul is scared and worn,
But my demon will not go.
So forget what you have heard,
and everything you know.
I'll leave you now, your mind a stir,
And I will let your life go
I'll walk my lonely path
lined with blood and hate,
and at the end we'll know my fate.
A lonely feeling you cannot shake.
If I can somehow be redeemed
For all the pain I've summed,
If at least my siblings
can forgive me for what I've done,
Maybe then I wont have to walk
my lonely path lone.
Even I can face my fate
if I am not alone...
