A/N: The last hitsuhina moment in Bleach and no one hasn't written a fan fic about it (I suppose?), so I decided to write one :) Okay, I also waited if Kubo would continue this moment, but since he hasn't (yet) done so, this is some kind of wish that he continues it soon. More hitsuhina moments in Bleach! I hope you enjoy this fan fic, please tell me what you think about it :)
Disclaimer: Thanks to Tite Kubo for giving us such wonderful characters as Hitsugaya and Hinamori and some lovely hitsuhina moments :3
Shiro-chan
A female with short raven hair looked up to the sky, where a white-haired male in a white uniform pointed a gigantic quincy with his sword. "Shiro-chan", Hinamori breathed, feelings holding a tight grip of her heart. He had Hyorinmaru, he wasn't a zombie, he didn't seem to have lethal wounds – but he was fighting against a lot bigger opponent, and so to her relief was mixed a bit (or a bit more than just a bit) worry for him.
Then the giant swung his fist, sent Hitsugaya to fly yet greater but this time with a broken ice wings, and someone screamed "Shiro-chan" like his nickname could save him. Only when Hinamori had left captain Hirako and started running towards a place where he was falling, she realised that she was a shouter.
"Bakudo 37,Tsuriboshi!" Hinamori succeeded to yell a little before Hitsugaya was going to crush to the ground, break his bones and end up being a mix of bloody flesh (no no no please don't!), and so Hitsugaya lay there uninjured when Hinamori rushed next to him.
"Shiro-chan", Hinamori breathed. "Wait, I'll heal you, just a second and-"
"I'm fine, turning into a zombie and turning back into normal just don't just make you feel very good", Hitsugaya sighed and rose to sit. "Exactly when turning back it's done by Kurotsuchi." Then he frowned and mumbled: "Otherwise I would have avoided that kind of hit easily."
Hinamori flashed a weak smile. He seemed being at least somehow the Hitsugaya she knew.
Hitsugaya blinked his eyes like he would really have woken just, then asked: "Hinamori? Is it really you? What're you doing here?"
"Same as you", Hinamori replied. "I thought all Soul Reapers were in a war with quincys, weren't they?"
"Yes, but-" Hitsugaya began, but Hinamor cut him off. "And even if only a part of Soul Reapers were fighting against quincys", she held a pause to highlight absurdity of the thought, "I would still be there if you were."
Suddenly Hitsugaya wrapped his arm around Hinamori's waist and snatched her away from the way of the enormous rock that hit exactly to the place they had just been. Fortunately, Hitsugaya was a captain and for that reason, he had succeeded to take them so far that only small (or small and small) stones flew to them. Besides, Hitsugaya had protected her with his body.
"T-thanks", Hinamori said. Hitsugaya nodded shortly after looking that she didn't have bad injuries, his gaze was turned towards the quincy. "Hinamori", he spoke, "leave this to me. You can-"
"Hitsugaya, that I won't do." Hinamori's firm tone and words startled him, and his amazed eyes met the determined gaze of the brown eyes. "Even if you're a captain, you've just gone through zombification. I can't leave you fight alone."
"Hinamori, I-" The giant took a new rock, and Hinamori wouldn't probably have time to leave any more. Besides, at this rate he could really do something with a little help. Hitsugaya nodded grumpily. "Okay. But be careful."
Hinamori returned his nod and took a grip of her sword. "By the way, Shiro-chan", she began, "when the fight is over, would you like to tell who changed your clothes?"
