This is a silly little oneshot that is based on this song I heard.
I don't know the name of the song, but this story's a Dramione, is in an AU, and if anybody knows the name of the song, can you tell me what it is?
Please and thank you.
Draco's POVI was sweeping up shop after a particularly rough day at work.
The chairs were stacked on top of the tables.
Then I looked up. The bell on the door tinkled, and I spun around to see a young woman, about my age, with beautiful curly brown hair, soft caramel eyes, and a quiet grin on her tanned, freckled face. Funny, she looked familiar somehow.
"We're closed, you know," I said to the beautiful girl.
"Oh, I know that. However, I'm afraid that I left my purse," she said, staring at me with her perfect brown eyes.
Oh, that's where I knew her.
I walked behind the bar and flipped around inside the lost and found box, rifling through until I found the small, red purse that I had dropped in only a few minutes ago.
"Is this it?" I asked.
"Oh, yes, it is," she said, reaching over to take it.
I held it out of her range. "Nope," I said. "You'll only get this back on one condition."
"What is it?"
I flicked on the radio to a smooth slow dance song.
"Dance with me."
So we danced. Right there on that hardwood floor, with the tables pushed up against the wall.
She put her head on my shoulders, and I held her.
"You know," she whispered, lifting her head off of my chest halfway through the song, "I'll marry you, but only on one condition."
I grabbed her hand and smiled.
"What condition?"
So we spun and twirled, laughing as the song sped up, and she smiled.
Her smile was so radiant, so beautiful, and I felt like if I died right then, in her arms, I'd die happy.
She ran her fingers through my slightly mussed blond hair, and laughed again.
I realized that her laugh was like music, the most enticing music I had ever heard.
"Well," I said, "Shall we inform our parents of our sudden engagement?"
"Sure," she said. "By the way, it's Hermione. Hermione Granger."
Was that good? I thought it was good.
If you did (or didn't), please tell me in a nice review.
No flames accepted. Constructive criticism will be welcomed with open arms.
