Maximum Ride: The Binna Version

I could feel the wind running through my hair. I could hear the faint giggles of little kids down below playing games with their friends and family.
Why can't we be like them? With friends and family? I mean we have each other but we all want real families of our own. I thought to myself. I looked behind me to see if Fang was there… he wasn't. I would've hoped and thought he had found us by now.
"When-" It was Angel. She scared the crap outta me. "Why are you so jumpy? I just wanted to know when-or if- Fang is coming back?" By now she was all teary-eyed. I couldn't handle it.
"Let's land." I choked out before the tears came rolling down my cheeks. I could really use Fang right now. I thought as I scooped Angel up in my arms and signaled the rest of the flock that we were gonna land at the next cliff. When we landed we all sat on the ground and started to talk. Angel was still upset so she was sitting on my lap silently crying.
"Where the frigg is Fang?" Iggy said getting up and walking away in anger.
"I don't exactly know." I said to him, trying to calm him down. I put my hand on his shoulder but he just shook it off and walked away. I have never seen Iggy cry, until now. He started to cry so I sat down next to him and put my arm around him.
"I am so ma that he isn't back yet. I never cry! Why am I crying? Max! Give me answers!" Iggy started to get really mad so I calmed him down as much as I could and then brought him back over to the rest of the flock. Angel was crying harder now because she saw that Iggy was crying. "Come here." Iggy said to Angel. Angel ran over and sat in Iggy's lap.
"I haven't seen Fang around in a couple days now.' I could see everybody's eyes start to tear up. "It's nothing to worry about. He will come back soon." I was so lying. I have no clue when he is coming back or even if he is coming back. I can't tell the kids that though. I know that Iggy understands but Angel just wants Fang back and I don't want to put even more worry on the kid's shoulders then they already have. I am so gonna hurt Fang for doing this to us. Imma hurt him bad. Even just thinking about it made my head hurt and my eyed get wet.
"Am I the only person that realizes this? We need him guys! WE NEED HIM!" Nudge ran off to the edge of the cliff and just sat there for a couple minutes. "What are we gonna do without him?" Nudge asked trying to stay calm.
"I have no clue. YET. But we will manage till he gets back. We need to push our worries aside and keeps our hopes high."
"I'm hungry!" Gazzy said standing up. We all stood up with him.
"Well then let's head out to go get some food. I think I'll have enough to get something good." I said looking at everybody. We took flight and were soaring through the sky when I saw something outta the corner of my eye. I instantly thought FANG. I took a sharp turn and headed for what I thought was Fang.
"Max! NOOO!" They all shouted.
"What are they shouting about as I looked back at them they told me to look ahead of was not Fang. Then I realized what and who I was heading for… oh crap. I thought. Its Ari and his stupid flying Erasers….
