Lukas had tried his best to not be caught. He really had. He didn't want his family to see him in pain. But that's what it has come to. He was pulled from his home, while eating with his small family. They had screamed for him to be let go, to be released from the small prison he was put in. But no matter what they had done, they could not convince them otherwise.

His friend and brother watched, as he was tied to the stake. Emil was crying. His brother had told him this would never happen. He'd be fine, and would never be caught for something that wasn't hurting anyone. He screamed that Lukas was a liar, and that he would never forgive him.

Matthias could only stare blankly at Lukas. He never believed in Lukas' magic, or anything of the sort. But even as he watched his friends burn, he would not believe in what he had been told. It was never real.

Lukas could show no fear. He never would. Even as he was burned, he would never show fear or cry. He was expressionless as always, but knew everything would be okay. The burns won last long.

Damn, Lukas hated immortality.
