Chapter 1

Harper was supposed to protect her sibling no matter what it took even if it costed her life. She was up late doing homework at her desk while her seven year old baby sister who had been napping on her bed. Lillian had been playing her game console playing a hand full of kid games that she got for her birthday. Glancing over she couldn't help but smile when she noticed that her covers fell off her small frame. "Maria." she mumbled lowly. A purple aura surrounded her and a woman wearing a black frilled dress that came down to her feet with green flowers around her waist and around the cut of her dress that exposed her chest and long black gloves. The woman's face was covered and the only thing visible was her mouth that was painted ruby red and had four petals where her eyes should be that were purple in color. She walked over to where Lillian lay and drew the covers over her and she turns towards the wall where her bed was up against. "Thanks Maria." Harper smiled returning back to her homework. The clock soon read 3:00 o'clock in the morning when she heard a loud thump coming from her parents room. Concerned Harper sat up from her desk and walked out into the hall and them into her parents room adjacent to hers. Peering in she only saw one person standing beside the bed and assumed it was her father due to how tall the silhouette was. "Dad did you fall of the bed?" she questioned feeling concerned. The silhouette looked like it visibly tensed and its profile turned to look at her. "Dad?" she called beginning to have a sinking feeling. When the silhouette turned towards her the moon hit something that gleamed and was shaped like a butcher knife. Her eyes went wide now fully aware that this person was not her father. Just as it took a step towards her she backed up quickly slamming her parents door close to give her at least a head start to get into her room and lock the her bedroom door. Once inside her room she slammed it closed turning the lock the minute she heard her parents door open. "What's going on?" Lillian asked sitting up straight in the bed eyes as wide as her in confusion and fear. Before she could answer she found herself jumping back and gasping when the person slammed on her door jiggling the knob. "AHHHHHH!" Lillian screamed rushing over to Harper she grabbed onto her waist. She had to summon Maria she had to freeze time, but in that time her mind was blank with terror. Were her parents dead? Was she going to be killed? Could she protect her sister? Scanning the room for any kind of weapon her eyes landed on the window. There was trim that went around the roof that was a trim that was just wide enough for a seven year old to shimmy across. She turn picking Lillian up and went over to the window unlocking it and pulling it up she punched out the screen while her sister held onto her shirt full on sobbing. "Lillian, I need you to listen to me." she whispered making her let go and kneeling down to her level. Lillian could only nodded being out of breath from sobbing too much. "I need you to go out the window shimmy across to the drainage pipe and slide down. Then go to the neighbors and call the police okay." she told her pointing to the window. Lillian's eyes were begging her not to make her do this, but another bag on the door wiped that from her mind. Harper picked her up swinging her outside and planting her feet on the trim. Slowly Lillian shimmed on the side of the house and had reached the drainage pipe when Harper stepped back closing and locking it trying to make it seem like she was the only one in there. She then spotted an old baseball bat that she used to play little league with and grabbed it. Harper could only pray that Lillian got to the neighbors house and called the police before that guy broke in. Again the thought of Maria popped into her head when her mind again went blank when she heard her bedroom door creak against one bang. 'This guy is going to get in. Can I fend him off? Will I live through all of this? Will he kill me?' filled her thoughts backing up to the wall on the other side of her room staring at the door. One last hit against the door and her poor oak door cracked apart making the lock useless. Her lamp in her room almost immediately illuminated the person. She saw the crazed look on in his eyes as he started at her with a mischievous look on his smirk that didn't fit his face. Harper could feel Maria fighting inside her to come out, but was unable to since she didn't call her out. All Harper could do was shake clutching the metal bat to her hands instead of swinging at him she just couldn't stop shaking. Terror filled her eyes as he got closer to her lifting up the bloody butcher knife in the air. Harper's eyes snapped shut when the knife swung down digging into her shoulder causing a deep wound that spewed blood and she let out a silent scream being forced to the ground her bat sliding away from her. The man then proceed to strip her and brutally rape her relishing in her sobs and pained screams. When he was done he loomed over her admiring what he had done. Blood loss was already making her vision clouded, but she mumbled in a quiet voice, "Maria...help." The man was raising the knife again to finish her off when he froze and Maria was beside then towering over the two. Through her tear filled blurry vision she reached out to Maria who classped the hand in hers. "Was-was I a good sister?" she rasped. Maria squeezed her hand tighter signifying as an answer. She gave a weak smile saying, "I'm glad." Before she could lose consciousness that would no doubt seal her fate permanently one of Maria's petals lit up and shattered into purple dust that light up the room making everything disappear till it was only the two of them in a purple glow. Another light came out of Maria's hand that reach out to touch Harper's body. The light enveloped her body disappearing seconds later her injuries gone. Maria then snapped her fingers and a lock appeared on Harper's chest. She tapped the lock making it open up and words and numbers flew out producing a clipboard that she took. On the clipboard there was all Harper's information. Her name, age, DOB, height, weight, hair color, eye color, family, status, and stand. It read: Harper Carter; Age: 17; DOB: February 14, 2001; Height: 4'11''; Weight: 92 lbs; Hair color: Silver; Eye color: Purple; Family: Lillian (Younger Sister), Mabel (Mother), Thomas (Father;Deceased); Status: Deceased; Stand: Maria. Maria scribbled on the clipboard with a strange looking pen before she was satisfied. The information on the clipboard has changed and now read: Name: Missy Kujo; Age: 17; DOB: February 14, 1970; Height: 4'11''; Weight: 92 Hair color: Silver; Eye color: Purple; Family: Holy (Mother), Jotaro (Older Twin), Joseph (Grandfather), Suzy Q (Grandmother), Sado (Father), Josuke (Uncle), Shizuka (Aunt); Status: Alive; Stand: Maria. Once done and by a wave of her hand the clipboard returned into letters and numbers that entered Harper's body and the open lock closed. Another bright light erupted from her and her appearance changed somewhat. She was dressed in a black school uniform that had thigh high black and white striped socks, brown leather shoes, and a orange and blue bunny jacket. Under her hood she had several piercings two purple studs in her lobes and a metal bar in her cartilage in her right ear. Her hair was still the same silver color that reached her hips and was usually in a high ponytail. The last detail was a star shaped birthmark that was on her hand along with a bunny shaped one on her left breast. Harper Carter was no more and Missy Kujo now existed. The bright purple light that surrounded them soon faded and she was in a different looking room. Instead of a normal bed there was a futon under her were she laid and across from her on another futon which was empty. Across from the futons was two desks that looked like one belonged to a girl and a boy. The room was a good size but seemed smaller with all the things in it. Time was still standing still Maria again snapped her fingers which changed Missy's cloths into pajamas. Maria then disappeared back into Missy and the clock began to turn again. Missy's began thrashing in her futon screaming bloody murder flailing her arms in the air like she was trying to fight someone off. Several sets of rushed footsteps were coming in the direction of the room and the door slide open. "What's going on in here!?" Joseph shouted ready to kick someone's head in, but was at a lose when he saw that Missy was the only one present. Holy calmly went over to where Missy was sleeping shaking her gently saying, "Missy. Missy honey wake up please. You're only dreaming honey." Missy thrashed a couple more times before her eyes shot open and was hyperventilating looking around the room terrified. Holy hugged her tightly to her chest shushing her as she rubbed her back. "It's okay. Calmed down sweetie." she whispered into her ear. Joseph and Avdol looked to Jotaro who stood beside them arms crossed. "Missy, has had night terrors since she was a kid." he stated watching Missy as she finally got her breathing back into control. "I'm sorry." she mumbled feeling guilty. Holy only shook her head hugging her tighter to her chest. "Do you know what causes these episodes?" Avdol asked. Jotaro shrugged leaning against the door frame he said, "The Doc said she talk about how she kept having nightmares about being murdered. She explain in detail what happened, but the Doc didn't go into detail with us." Avdol and Joseph had came to Japan to handle the situation with Jotaro's supposed evil spirit that was actually his stand and how they had to take down Dio who was very well up to no good and who stole his grandfather's body causing everyone in the joestar bloodline to gain a stand. Missy however, had her stand since she could remember and oddly her birthmark was on her hand and not on the back of her neck like theirs. Once Holy tucked Missy back into her bed she exited and Jotaro enter their shared room beginning to get ready for bed. Joseph and Avdol stared at them for a while before returning to their rooms. Holy followed suite after saying goodnight to them sliding the door close afterwards….

Chapter 2

The next morning Missy got up feeling really tired from the night before after her episode. She had went almost an entire month without one, but the stress from all the information given to her by her grandfather and his friend. The one person who put her at ease was her boyfriend Noriaki though he was being odd as of late. Ever since he returned from Egypt 3 months prior he was distant and colder towards her. Something told her that there was a huge reason why he changed; like an unspeakable force making him act like this. Missy was desperate to talk to him, to see him smile, or to kiss him. Usually she would run into him on her walk to the school standing off to the side waiting for her. When she reached the normal location where he would meet her she found him not there. The only people she could see was her brother being fawned over by female students that went to her school. Jotaro looked like he was ready to blow a gasket at any moment, which he did when two of the girls got louder. Sighing she glanced to the right a saw Noriaki by the tree behind them watching from the distance a canvas in front of him. It wasn't odd for Noriaki to paint since he did love artwork. However, something about his features seemed darker than usual which sent an uncomfortable chill down her spin anxiety spiking. He made what looked like a slashing motion on the canvas then a pained grunt followed by the screams of the girls. She whipped around to see her brother taking a nosedive down the steps that led to the city where their school was. Jotaro activated his stand that protected him from the stone steps. Missy dropped her school bag without thinking and booked it down the steps while the girls just stood their dazed. "Jotaro!" she yelled in a panic. Jotaro had a cut on his leg and his pants were ruined, but he acted like it was nothing and stood up dusting himself off. "I'm fine Missy." he told her unassuringly. She frowned reached out to her bag to give him her handkerchief when she realized it wasn't in her hand. "My bag...where did it go?" she mumbled to herself looking around. "You lost your bag again." Jotaro sighed. The other girls had finally came out of their stupor and were at his side bothering him and only talking about his injury and not actually helping him. It was then she saw Noriaki walk into her field of vision drawing her attention. "Noriaki." she muttered. He was wearing a long flowy scarf and green colored school uniform and in his hand and wrist was two school bags. The school bag on his wrist wasn't his however, a small bunny and Hierophant Green chain attached to it. "That was sure a nasty fall." he mused with a hidden meaning in his tone. Missy couldn't take her eyes off him being unable to clear her mind of how his words made her unease even stronger. Noriaki pulled out a handkerchief holding it out to Jotaro saying, "Here, your leg seems to be cut. You might what to wrap it with this handkerchief to stop the bleeding." Jotaro took it mumbling, "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just a scratch." Noriaki then turned to the still dazed Missy taking her hand he placed her bag into her open hand clasping it for her. Noriaki didn't smile like he normally would when he saw her; he just turned about to leave when Jotaro stopped him. "Hey!" He halted in his step and glanced at him noticeably glaring at him for whatever reason. "I forgot to say thanks. I haven't seen you before you go to our school?" he asked. Noriaki went to a different school originally, but had said he would be transferring to her school that way the two could see each other more. "I'm Noriaki Kakyoin and yes I just transferred here yesterday. See you around." he introduced himself briefly turning away from them, but not before meeting Missy's eyes. He continued to walk and before he was out of sight completely she went after him. Noriaki was already at the last step when Missy called out to him. "Noriaki Wait!" she called. She expected Noriaki to just keep walking but he stopped and turned to look up at her. Missy went faster not paying attention to the number of steps until one of them tripped her. She fell down the last steps and was ready to call out Maria to slow down time so she could steady herself when she fell into a warm chest. Confused she looked up to see Noriaki looking down at her arms secured around her waist. Noriaki looked like a giant compared to her, but being in his arms calmed her down and made her feel light. He caressed her cheek saying, "Your blushing." Missy pushed away face growing even hotter which caused him to smirk. Smirk not smile like the loving boyfriend she knew him as. "What's gotten into you Noriaki? I wish you'd tell me why you've been so distant." she thought aloud. Noriaki went stiff and something sparked in his eye though she couldn't tell what. "Is something wrong?" she asked worriedly. Coming back to his senses he shook his head smiling a fake smile and said, "It's nothing why don't we go talk somewhere in private." Missy tilted her head to the side with a frown. "But what about school?" she questioned. Noriaki just winked saying, "It won't take long." Missy was still unsure of what to do since her brain told her to run that something was wrong with him, but her heart told her to go with him. She nodded and the two went down a different path that led to a small garden filled with colorful flowers that was off from view of the staircase Jotaro and the others would walk down before turning to the left where the school led. Missy could feel Noriaki's eyes on her and could feel his chest pressed against her back. "Missy please look at me." he pleaded. Missy feared turning around knowing in her gut something bad was about to happen. He placed a hand on her shoulder and forced her to turn around, but she refused to look up at him. "Just who are you?" she whispered tears filling her eyes. "That hurts. You know who I am." he said in fake hurt. "No you aren't! What did you do with my real boyfriend!? What did you do with the real Noriaki Kakyoin!?" she snapped voice cracking as the tears finally fell. He chuckled darkly grabbing her chin and forcing her to meet his eyes. "Ma-" Her eyes went wide we lips pressing against hers cut her off preventing her from calling out her stand. She grasped onto his shirt trying to push him off to no avail. A sharp and rough jab to her stomach forced the wind from her lugs making her vision go spotted. She couldn't breathe with his mouth on hers and the hit made it even harder for her to breathe. Missy struggling soon stopped and she fell limp into his arms when he pulled away with a smirk.
