In the grand scheme of things the Valar do not know everything. They can see possibilities as the future changes and warps as to what a person or being does. So, when a spell or a song that is sung goes wrong and brings a person who is not supposed to be there into Arda, you get complications. Such as an elven king falling in love with a cantankerous wizard. I digress...I never introduced myself my name is Vairë I am the Weaver and wife of Mandos or Námo the Doomsman and Judge of the Dead.
Now where do I being on this story, of course, the beginning but that beginning was when the song was sung by Eru and brought life to Arda but that is a long story for another time and day. Another song was sung later as the Elves, Men and Dwarves and other races and beings were created and that was of a soul mate. Each living being has one but sadly most never find them such is the curse of life. However, the song was sung by Manwë Súlimo and on that day Aulë decided to scare him since Manwë was distracted. You can guess how well that played out and even though it was funny the song got a little hiccup into it and one beings soul mate was to be in another realm/world. And oh, what a fight that was; Yavanna had to step in and stop them from doing serious damage.
Manwë was angry as he knew that the song for one of the elves soulmate bond was gone and was in a whole other world. I was sad that all of this happened but I knew that as it was sung and even Eru would help if possible to get the soulmates together in time.
I suppose you are wanting to see what happened and where our wizard ended up first? It was interesting to say the least and that fact that Eru himself had to step in was new.
Anyway, enjoy the tale as I weave more into the life of Arda.
