It was a normal day, but one that went wrong because of me. If I never went out hunting with my sister she wouldn't be here now.

"Primrose, do you want to go hunting with me later?" I asked.

"Need you ask? Of course I want to come!" Primrose said.

"Ok you need to be ready in an hour," I explained.

Primrose and I packed the essentials: a snack, coats, basket and more importantly boots, then we walked to the woods. Primrose was quite quiet so I had to keep looking over my shoulder to make sure that she was still there. Luckily I could still see her long, blonde hair and her waterproofs. So I carried on down and collected my bow and arrow.

I was walking. Then suddenly I came to a stop, I saw a deer. I slowly loaded my arrow and drew it back as quiet as a mouse, then aimed it at the eye. BAM! I got it. Primrose had to carry it on her shoulder as it was too big to fit in the basket but she didn't complain.

Primrose and I walked for a while and we caught one deer, 4 rabbits and a hare. We were doing great but then I heard a scream. I was frightened, frightened not only for myself but for Primrose as well. I looked over my shoulder and she wasn't there. I ran in panic, was she kidnapped, did she fall, what could have happened to her?

"Primrose, Primrose where are you?" I shouted

"I'm over here Katniss, I was just doing my shoelace up," She replied

I was relieved at the fact that my sister was fine but we needed to get out of here as quickly as we could. I grabbed her arm without thought and I just ran. I was a cheetah in action. I tried not to go too fast so that Primrose could keep up and still carry the goods. I took the deer so that we could run faster.

We came upon a cliff with a tree going over to the other side; it was only a small cliff only about 5 ft but you would still suffer with a broken leg if you fell. I gave Primrose the deer and I shuffled across the tree branch and waited on the other side. She started shuffling across with the basket and the deer over her shoulder. I was standing in hesitation hoping that she will get half way across so she could throw the deer over to me in order for her to get across quicker. Primrose got half way and threw me the deer but a man started coming at her with a knife she panicked and started to rush. She was going so fast that she slipped and was holding on for her life, I desperatly reached out to help her but she lost grip and...

DROP!

I had to get away if I was ever going to save my little sister but my safety is going to lead to her safety. The man was still running at me with his knife. I was terrified. He was looking at me with an angry look on his face. In his hand he clenched the knife like it was going to be thrown at me.

I then came across two paths. Which way should I go? I then thought of Primrose, I couldn't leave her there, I'd be a monster, so I turned left running at full pelt. I came across Primrose and she was out cold, I had to ditch the deer and come back for it later, I had to get Primrose to the hospital and quick. I Carried her in my arms and ran as fast as I could, making a B-line to the hospital.

I luckily got there within 30 minutes still with the raging man on my track but he couldn't do anything now there are too many people to witness anything. I went to ANE and explained what had happened and they called our mother, they also revived my sister and took her for an X-Ray and that is where we are now wondering what is wrong with my sister whether it is a broken leg or she's fine I still will not forgive myself for it.

Luckily we got the results back and it was a broken leg and she's now in a cast. She will also be in a wheelchair for around 7 weeks but we got off lightly this time and it was my entire fault.
