"Yo girl, we need to talk." Cynthia Rose dead panned as she sat opposite Chloe. The redhead stared at the younger girl and closed her book.
"What's up? Are you okay?" Chloe asked with a frown.

"I'm fine. We need to talk about you." Cynthia replied, pointing a finger at the senior.
"Me? What have I done?!"
"Look girl, I have the greatest gaydar, and you're taking up the whole damn thing." Cynthia shrugged.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" Chloe shot back

"Of course you do. You think you can hide it from the others but seriously, your gay is showing."
Chloe stared at the younger girl, unsure of how to reply, instead settling for staring at the table.

"Look Chloe, it isn't a big deal, nobody cares any more."
"I know, I just..." Chloe finally met Cynthia's eyes "How did you know?"
"The same way pretty much the entire group worked it out." the younger girl replied with a smile. "Beca."
Cynthia watched as the colour drained from the seniors face.
"You all knew!?" Chloe half yelled.

"Do you think we're blind? You corner her in the shower. Naked. You insist on holding her hands to help her learn dance moves she knows. You guys practically kiss at the initiation party. And don't even get me started on when you essentially sang Just the way you are to her in the pool."

"Oh shit." Chloe dropped her head to the table. "Does Beca know?" She mumbled

"Maybe, never heard her say anything of it though." Cynthia shrugged. Chloe raised her head.
"And is she...?"
"Very." Cynthia smiled "Her kissing Jesse, I don't even know but they're over now, you know that."
How could Chloe forget, Beca and Jesse had been dating for literally a week before she ended it, no explanation.
"So what are you going to do about it?"
"Nothing." Chloe sighed

"Why the hell not?!"
"Because I'm graduating next week Cynthia."
"So? You've got an apartment like ten minutes away. It's not like you're leaving."
"She doesn't even like me that way!" Chloe defended.

"How could she not. Look, Aubrey said that if you don't ask her out in the next two days, she's going to do it for you. This is me warning you."

Chloe paused, biting her lip in thought.
"Where is she?" Chloe asked. Cynthia checked her watch.
"Well, seeing as Bella's start in five minutes, probably there."
"What. Shit, Aubrey is going to slaughter us!" Chloe stood from her chair, almost knocking it over in her haste.

"Well then I suggest you get that perfectly toned ass over there and kiss that damn girl so Aubrey will forgive us." Cynthia dead panned as she followed Chloe out of the room.

As they reached the door to the auditorium Chloe stopped short.

"Nervous?" Cynthia asked.

"Terrified."
"That's so not you girl, where's the cheery, overconfident Chloe we know and love?"
"Hiding." Chloe sighed.
"Look, don't think. Do. Just walk in that room, go to Beca, and kiss the hell out of her"

Before Chloe had a chance to reply, Cynthia Rose had grabbed her wrist, opened the door and effectively thrown the older girl through the threshold. As Chloe regained her balance she felt the rooms eyes on her.
"Nice of you both to show up." Aubrey stated. Chloe didn't say anything, she had caught Beca's eye, neither girl was breaking the contact. Chloe felt a hand on her back, she knew it was Cynthia encouraging her to do what she had been wanting to do since the day she had met the DJ.

Taking a deep breath Chloe strode across the room, still holding Beca's eye. Upon reaching the shorter girl Chloe cupped Beca's cheeks and pulled her up into a deep kiss, cautiously Chloe trailed her tongue across Beca's lower lip, smiling to herself when the younger girl allowed entry.
"She isn't a cheesecake you know!" Fat Amy called out. Chloe broke the kiss with a short laugh. Beca smiled back

"Took you long enough." She whispered simply. Chloe just laughed and pressed her forehead to Beca's.
