A/N: A short poem I wrote to pass time.

Little Girl Lost

Surrounded by people, you feel so alone

There's not one place

that you can call home

To the world you're alive

but you're dying inside

This façade is e-x-h-a-u-s-t-i-n-g

There's just one girl who sees through your game;

sees through the cracks, sees your torment and pain

She holds out her hand

and guides you to light

You run from such care; the light is too bright

You fall to your knees

and stare at the ground

You choke on your tears

to the truth you have found

You see the reflection

from the water below

It's a little girl lost

A long way from home
