I tried writing a Soul Eater story in the view of Liz. This is after the ending of the anime. Possible future Kid/OC if I feel like it and possible Patty/Soul. I do not own any of these characters besides the OCs and enjoy!
I sat there fumbling with a fresh spot on my new jeans. I wasn't sure how I got it, but Kid said he would help me remove the stain when we got out of prison. And by prison I mean school. Horrible, disgusting school.
"Liz," Kid tapped on my shoulder. "Are you paying attention?"
Today he switched up where he sat. Instead of being next to me or next to Soul, he sat behind me with Black Star. This surprised me considering Black Star's unwanted comments always made Kid go insane.
"Yeah," I turned around. "Stein is just talking about how the souls must connect or something along that line." Whatever he was saying, I'm sure he's said it a million times.
Dr. Stein had a weird way of teaching. First, he would start the day off with a nice dissection. Second, a great lesson that he taught a week ago and then finish the day off with an example of said lesson that almost kills everyone in the room. With a teacher like him, you would assume you would never get bored, but you could not be more wrong. After months straight of the same routine, same dumbasses in your class, and the same ticking clock counting your minutes in hell, you get pretty damn tried of everything.
Me, being popular, knew everything about everyone. The girl who always sits in the back with the purple hair is a weapon who's meister is always sick and never does anything despite her amazing grades. A boy sitting to the far left of the classroom is a meister who just lost his weapon. I can understand why his weapon basically forced someone to help them find another partner. All he did was pick his nose and flick it on others blaming his weapon. If I was his partner, I would've left a long time ago.
These three girls, one meister and two weapons, were witches and thought no one knew but everyone did. It really wasn't a big deal though because I heard they were under the "Shinigami's protection" or whatever. They seemed cool so it didn't matter. Another girl who meisters herself is super quiet and always wears this green jacket. I swear she sleeps in it.
The only thing keeping me adrift was the small light at the end of the tunnel that is Tsubaki. Her calming nature and nice taste in everything always made me comfortable. She would help me with things I didn't understand and would giggle at my comments that I made under my breath. At least my best friend was in my class, otherwise I would be stuck with Patty singing 24/7 (Soul always got stuck with that, thank Shinigami-sama's ass).
"LIZ THOMPSON!" Dr. Stein yelled.
"Sorry, I must've stopped paying attention again," I rolled my eyes and sat up.
There. There it was. Tsubaki's glorious giggle.
