Hello. This is a poem I wrote last January, if not on the 1st then the day after. I played Rusty Hearts for just a couple of weeks and the music of the main menu was so beautiful I couldn't help it. I have this poem posted on the forums of the game under the name IHaveACellPhone, though I've changed a couple of things.
I'm not particularly proud of this work but I still remember how...happy I was when I finished writing it around 3am after listening to the song as if there was no tomorrow. The song is called Lament of a Rusty Heart if I'm not mistaken and you should be able to find it on youtube at any time.

Rusting Heart
Visions of you follow me to this very day
Raven black hair
Pale white skin
Twinkling warm eyes
A smile...
A smile that used to drive all the darkness away
A smile that used to cleanse my heart
So beautiful, so fragile
Fate's cruelty toyed with me using your raw mortality as bait
I fell for it
And amidst all the chaos I could only stop for a second
To admire the sight of blood running through your broken skin
Just one forbidden second that drove me mad
That allowed me to do the unforgivable
Your eyes grew cold
Your smile broke
You left me to my darkness
You left me to my abyss
And the life I stole
The blood that stains my hands
It hugs my heart in a breathtaking way
Gently putting it to sleep
The warmth of your blood hunts me to this very night
It's metallic taste drowning my heart
Rusting it until the day it'll beat no more
