Lieutenant Adventures Comic featuring the 3rd Lieutenant 21 March 2002. Back to Work.

The TARDIS materialised.

The Lieutenant stepped out. She was back in the Time War.

Orgha was standing a small distance away, watching. She had seen the TARDIS materialise and knew this person who looked nothing like her best mate was the Lieutenant.

The Lieutenant inspected how the army and Orgha fought. She looked frustrated and scratched her head.

"Out of the way, Sweetheart." said the Professor.

"Excuse me?" asked the Lieutenant. "I'm not going anywhere, I'm the Lieutenant, head of this army."

The Professor stared at her and mumbled something that wasn't understood. "2nd incarnation?" he asked.

"No, 3rd." said the Lieutenant.

"3rd?" asked the Professor.

"3rd." said the Lieutenant. "Guys, who told you to fight like that?" she screamed.

"Who do you think you are?" asked the Doctor.

"She's the Lieutenant." said Orgha.

"Oh. You did." said the Doctor.

"Did I?" asked the Lieutenant. Again, she looked frustrated. "No, no, you're doing it wrong. Stop. 3 shots, then take cover."

"But you said-"

"I don't care what I said. You're doing it this way, now. No time to practice, the Time War doesn't allow it. GO!" She disappeared inside the TARDIS. She walked through to her office, clicked on the desk lamp and pulled forward a file titled the Time War. She opened to Page 1 and picked up a pen and wrote 'Target - The Daleks. Extras - '. She stood up. "Companions." she whispered. "I'm a danger to them. Forget about companions."

A TARDIS could be heard materialising.

The Lieutenant stepped outside the TARDIS in time to see a red London Phonebooth finish materialising. She was scared now. She pulled the TARDIS door closed behind her and turned round to look at it. It was the same TARDIS. How could that be?

The other TARDIS door opened.

A man and woman stepped out.

"Hello! I'm the Lieutenant. I need to do something for a while in private. All the rest of me are busy. I'm leaving this lovely girl with you, her name's Kellie. I'm expecting her back in one piece." He stepped back into the TARDIS.

The TARDIS dematerialised.

Kellie smiled. "Hi, I'm Kellie." she said. She must have seen the Lieutenant's face. "He's the Lieutenant. He makes people look with wonder. Who are you?"

"I'm the Lieutenant." she said. "Come in to the TARDIS, Kellie." She looked frustrated again. "Cup of tea and some pork?" she asked once inside."

"Just tea, please, I don't eat pork." said Kellie.

"Why?" asked the Lieutenant.

"I'm a Jew. I know you're Christian." said Kellie.

That was right. The Lieutenant was Christian. She returned with a cup of tea. "You know me in the future?" she asked.

"I travel with you in the future." said Kellie.

"Future. It's funny to think I have one in this job." said the Lieutenant. "Do you have a job, Kellie?" she asked.

"Dance Teacher at Hamilton High Boarding School." Kellie said proudly.

"And proud you should be too." said the Lieutenant. She smiled."Follow. You're in my care, now." She flicked a switch.

The TARDIS door open.

The Lieutenant and Kellie left the TARDIS.

The Lieutenant pulled the door closed behind her. "KEEP GOING, KEEP GOING." she screamed.

The TARDIS materialised.

The Lieutenant stepped out. "Kellie?"

Kellie returned to the Lieutenant.

"Thank me." said the Lieutenant.

The Lieutenant and Kellie stepped into the TARDIS.

The TARDIS dematerialised.

"Kellie." whispered the Lieutenant. She smiled to herself. "Kellie."
