I spy with my little eye something, tall, lean and blond. She's been gone for a little while, but you're right. Mother's girl is back. We haven't heard anything from Ino after her wildlife got too much for her mother and she got shipped away. You'll need to lock up your boyfriends because Ino is here to steal them, fit into that amazing dress that was too tight for you, with easy and don't put it past her to steal the last glass of champagne at the next party you're going to. What will her bestie think about that? From what I've heard they haven't been speaking much.

Ino was dragging her suitcase behind her. Nothing much had changed. It was all the looked same, yet she knew everything had changed. Still she couldn't bring herself to care. She just wanted to unpack and go for a drink, or fifteen. She bit her bottom lip feeling her phone ring. Could Sakura have found out about her so quick? She growled and picked up her phone, and yes. She had ignored her calls the months she had been at boarding school. She would have to catch up with her now. She couldn't avoid her forever.

"Ino! For God's sake!" Ino didn't answer. "What the hell have you been up to?" She figured it was best for her to let out some steam first. "Meet me in twenty, at my house." That was not her plan.

"Sure, whatever. I've missed you too."

She hung up and went to the street to call for a cab. It didn't take too long with her good looks. Why she was the it-girl needed no explanation, long legs, slender body and a cheerful face. She told the cab driver where to go with a smile with her "oh, you can't stop looking at me and I don't mind you can't help it" smile. She was always polite unless someone aggravated her or if she was drunk off her mind. Ino was the kind of girl who never lost her cool no matter what she was doing if it was singing, reading the newspaper or hurling on a public place.

She wondered if Sakura had changed at all, if she was still the controlling perfectionist. She probably was. She had been so all her life. Ino let out a sigh. She wasn't sure if what she was doing the right thing. Wasn't sure if she just should have stayed at the school for another year. She couldn't even if she had wanted. Truth was that Ino had been kicked out of school. She could not put it off any longer, she needed to face her demons and make up for her sins.

She had arrived, handing the driver a 100 dollar bill and got her suitcase. She heard the ping from the elevator. It sounded like it always had, but it had never hit her that hard or scared her that much. She was about to tell Sakura's maid that she had arrived when she noticed that there was a party.

"Is that, it certainly is!" Sakura's mother yelled out. Sakura's mother looked like she almost had. Ino could almost swear that her breasts had gotten bigger if that was possible. They were shortly pressed tight against Ino.

"I did not know that you were coming. It's such a pleasant surprise. Sakura will be thrilled. Things have been though without you..."

"Ino! You were supposed to go straight home! I hope she's not being an imposition, Tsunade."

"Mother!"

There was no warm welcome from her mother. There was no welcome back and warm hug. There wasn't enough room for a single maternal bone in the lanky Kurenai. She was equally as cool as her daughter. The same tall and lanky body, face stiff with botox. What seperated mother was the hair and eyes. While Ino had blond hair and blue eyes, property of her long gone father, Kurenai had brown hair and brown eyes.

Sakura had mere minutes ago attacked her boyfriend and gone to her room. She would often pretend like her life was a movie. Play out different scenes and stories in her head. It was so much exiting than being the good girl that she was. Right now she was acting like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe who she often spent Sunday mornings watching act on the silver screen.

She had her boyfriend up against her bedroom door, tumbler with whiskey in one hand. The third glass had gone straight to her head. She had it all planned out. How she was going to lose her virginity. On her seventeenth birthday. That was until she had that glass of whiskey. It was this or yelling at her mother on her party. She couldn't do that, she was a poised and good girl.

Her boyfriend was none other than the infamous Deidara. Golden boy. Captain on all the school teams that mattered. He did well below average at school, but he hadn't been hold back at school yet. He was more interested in smoking weed in the park than reading about some strange African war he would never care about. He like Ino had long blond hair and blue eyes. The difference was that his eyes were deep and his hair golden. Golden boy.

Sakura didn't have the time to wait anymore. She had gone through this scene in her mind a million times. This wasn't a scene, this was her life. Zippers were opened and mouths kissed. She was suddenly pushed down on the bed. Not in a romantic, feverish I have to have you now kind of way."

"Sakura! Sakura! Come down! Ino is here!"

"Did you hear that? Ino is here?"

Sakura didn't care. She was busy. She was finally going to have sex for the first time in her life.

"Don't you want to go see her?"

Deidara had already started getting dressed again. Sakura admitted to herself that she had already lost one battle against Ino. She would have to step up her game again. She fallowed Deidara down the stairs buttoning her cardigan. She saw Deidara's eyes as he ran over Ino hugging and kissing all over her face. He never looked at her that way anymore. She didn't even bother to greet her yet and instead walked over to Sasuke and some girls from her school.

Sasuke. Sasuke Uchiha. Second generation of money, second son. He and Ino were the only one in their group who had siblings. Sasuke had an older brother and Ino a younger brother. Sakura's mother hadn't wanted to destroy her body any further with a second child. Deidara's mother was even worse. She hadn't even given birth to him. They had paid a Thai surrogate. It had totally paid off, his mother was so tight.

Over to Sasuke again. He was the group's harlot. He woke up with a boner at the age of nine and had been broken since that. Seriously. He had jet black hair, dark eyes and cheek bones to die for. Sakura would never admit but she was jealous of his long and perfectly sculpted legs.

"A thousand dollars says she was kicked out of school." Nobody wanted to take Sasuke up on that bet. They all knew they would lose. "And look at her face, she had a sex glow. A glow of one that's been thoroughly fucked."

"Look at her eyes, is she on heroin," Another girl butted in.

"No, she's definitively on uppers, coke or E," Sasuke would know.

"I didn't know it would happen so fast," Sakura said in a mysterious way.

She contemplated telling them the truth. That she hadn't had much contact with her best friend since she left. She had the chance to change the script and make it seem like Ino had confined in her. Sakura knew as little as they did. She was somewhat displeased with Ino's return. They had been best friends and since they were born. Sakura had considered their friendship dead and buried it in a shoebox in her walk-in closet the day she had been told that Ino had gone to boarding school without telling her.

Now Sakura would become Ino's friend again. The lesser one, the shorter, small chested, fat and less fun friend. Since Ino had moved Sakura had lost her competition. She had become the girl everyone looked up to at school. The girl that set the rules and trends. She had become the Queen Bee.

"I heard she had an abortion."

"It wouldn't have been the first one. Just look at her. Why is she back, S? Spill the beans," Sasuke wanted to know what had brought Ino back.

"I promised not the tell anyone, girlcode. She was pretty upset with it."

"Whatever it was or wasn't. Looks like she already found her next victim."

XOXO

Ino giggled and put her hand on Deidara's shoulder. It felt wrong, but she had to act normal around him. She knew Sakura was watching them and talking about them. She hadn't told her best friend why she had to leave and why she was back. She had hardly stayed in touch with her.

"Sakura hasn't spoken to me yet. She's mad at me, does she know?"

Deidara shook his head. He hadn't had the heart to tell his girlfriend since kindergarten that he fucked her best friend.

"She's not mad, she's just shy. You know Sakura."

Ino did know Sakura. She was raging, certainly mad that Ino had left her without a word and hardly kept in touch with her. Ino knew because she was mad at herself too. She hated herself for being such an awful friend to Sakura. She would have to see her sooner and didn't want to spend any more time alone with Deidara. His look told her that he wasn't over her yet.

"Where did your pink hair go?" Ino said standing next to Sakura by the couch.

"Oh, please don't remind me of that. Most embarrassing mistake of my life. Pastel hair is for backup dancers." It was now delicate dark chocolate brown now. Her natural hair color, Ino couldn't tell.

"You have to catch me up on all the latest gossip," Ino said with the largest smile. Her voice sounded too happy for her own good. Sakura showed her the ring on her finger. "Oh my god! Don't tell me that you're engaged!"

Sakura shook her head. "No, it's a promise ring. Isn't it sweet? A lot has changed since you ran away," Her eyes stabbed Ino, and her smile was cold. She turned her back against her, the rather large diamonds on her ring sparkled in the light. They sat down on the couch.

Sakura had wanted to know what had happened to her and why she was back.

"Are you staying for dinner?" Sakura asked.

"I was thinking about going home so I could unpack and stuff," Ino said in an apologizing voice. She couldn't take if she would talk about how her boyfriend seemed to have changed, like he was hiding something from her. She couldn't take it because she knew why. It was also true that she wanted to unpack, the train ride had killed her "Some other time," Ino said.

"Yes, some other time."Sakura said in defeat. Ino had turned her down again. Maybe not too much had changed after all. Ino thanked Sakura for her hospitality, hugged her goodbye and left.

Her mom was renovating their house again, so they where living at a hotel. She did that every time her marriage failed. They were always doomed from the start.

"Drinks at six after the dinner, I know traveling, or anything else makes you thirsty." – D

She didn't want anything to do with Deidara so she debated if she should answer him at all.

"You have a girlfriend" – I

"What if I didn't?" – D

"She's my best friend! I'm not doing that to her!" - I

Ino turned off her phone and threw it in the chair.

I'm rewriting the older chapters! Some things will therefore not make sense in the following chapters. You're more than welcome to wait or continue.

Beta by: ShikaIno1, this story really needed you!

I've gotten a few reviews on my choice of characters. You may comment all you like, but I'm not going to change anything.

Ino as Serena van der Woodsen and Sakura as Blair Waldorf

I tried Sakura in the role as Serena and Ino as Blair. I can't see it, and it didn't feel right. Here's why and it's not because Ino is blond:

I feel that Sakura is more darker character in spirit, like Blair

Sakura is brighter than Ino, just as Blair is brighter than Serena

Ino is more free-spirited, like Serena

Ino is more interested in boys, like Serena

Ino is more concerned about her looks, like it seems like Serena is

Ino is more interested in boys, like Serena

Ino seems overly confident to hide that fact that she isn't, like Serena

Sakura seem more thorough in all she does, like Blair

Sakura seem like she has it all under control, like Blair

And this list could go on if you're still not convinced.

I actually feel so strongly about this that if Sakura was supposed to be Serena and Ino was to be Blair, there wouldn't be a story. Sorry, not sorry.

As my faithfull reader and reviewer Syeda buraira put it:

U see the thing is I'm obsessed with Blair Waldorf and Sakura Haruno. I find them quite similar. Especially their respective friendship with serena and ino. I wil share my thoughts on this regard with u -
1. Blair always felt she was under serenas shadow, always insecure of her. Sakura feels the same way about ino
2. Blair is booksmart, so is sakura (this is a huge thing, Sakuras USP is her intelligence, same with blair waldorf)
3. Just like ino saved sakura same way serena saved blair. Brought her out of the shell. Helped her fight bulimia.
4. Sakura is bitchy and flawed like blair. Sakura broke her friendship with ino due to insecurity. Blair also does the same with serena like multiple times throughout the series.
5. Chair is similar to sasusaku in a lot of ways.
6. Serena is also sassy and total it girl. She could be the queen bee but she lets blair have that position. Same with ino, she doesn't always like stealing Sakuras thunder. Sometimes she does it for fun.
7. Physical appearance amd body structure. Ino just like serena is a leggy blonde bombeshell. Sakura just like blair is petite and lacking in the chest department. But praised for her eyes and smile. Besides Leighton meester can cosplay sakura anytime. All she needs , pink wig and green eye contacts.
8. Ino always encourages and cheers up sakura just like serena does with blair.
seriously the similarities are endless. And to those of you who think ino is queen bee. So she should be blair. Blair was never a queen bee when serena was around. She gained that title by scheming, manipulating and other stuff.

Sasuke as Chuck Bass

Well, do I need to explain? They're both smug bastards

Deidara as Nate Archibald

I've always pictured Deidara as the more secluded and mellow pothead with deep internal turmoil. So sue me, there's also the case of family issues.

Naruto as Erick van der Woodsen

Because who's the sweetest characters in both series. Really? I also feel like they're both wise and mature beyond their years. There's also the case of gay vibes coming off from Naruto.

There will of course be several other characters. There already are. Some will not have a definitive role from the series, such as Itachi, Chuck Bass certainly doesn't have a brother. There's also some characters from the show that's not in the story yet, so if you have any suggestions don't be shy, tell me!
