Chapter 1
I could feel the silence curling around me. The wind whipping my hair and my clothes. Still silent. I spoke to the trees, begging them for cover. Obligingly they did, stretching in front of me, hiding me from view. Small woodland animals; rats, mice and the occasional rabbit, scurried past muffling the noises I may or may not have made. All the while the darkness encases me. I had practiced this a million or more times. Perfecting each and every small move. All I needed was one clear view of her… It wasn't my idea to kill her this time, though I had though about it. It was his; my friend, my lover, my master. He wanted her to die. I understood. She deserved to die. I had already killed her partner. It was time for them to be re-united. In hell.
