Draco wasn't crying. He would never cry. It was …rain. Except that the cloudy sky had not yet broken. So it was simply… water.

Oil and water never mix…

That's what they were, oil and water, damned to be ever apart.

Footsteps. No, it couldn't be, not right now. "Hey, Draco!"

It was him. Draco flinched, turning away. It was too much. …they never mix… His clenched fists shook slightly. "Draco?" said the voice, quieter now.

"Oil and w-water. Th-they never mix." He gasped out, his voice trembling.

"Oh, Dragon…" was the whispered, almost inaudible, reply. That single word broke the dam, and he buried himself in Harry's chest, the tears he had so recently denied breaking free.

oOoOo

Harry's arms wrapped around Draco and held him while he cried, the barriers he had held up for so long finally crumbling. He had waited and worked so long to help bring them down, to be able to see his love's eyes without the walls being there. So he sat and held his Dragon as the rain began to fall around them. It washed away the last of the walls, and with them, the pain. Harry felt the first hint of joy that he had felt in a long time.

With a final shaky hiccup, Draco wiped his eyes and scooted himself around so that he was securely in Harry's arms. Slowly, Harry glanced into Draco's grey eyes, and froze.

It was not the silvery gray that captivated him, though it would have stole his breath any other day.

No, this time it was the love that Harry could see, a love that he finally saw for all it's depth.

"I know something stronger than oil and water, something that surpasses everything…" He stated, never pulling his eyes away from Draco's.

"Love." He breathed, and kissed his Dragon.
