Okay, I was in a poetry mood, and here came this song about Renselec. I am giving ren's thoughts on their relationship. She says that she is hoping to find an island(world) which is perfect for their love. But when she steps into what she thinks is their utopia, she finds that utopia does not exist. The sand( real world, her family, and a certain someone{Jacob} ) are seemingly beautiful but corrupt(black). She wishes that everything was perfect- line like the fish flew and butterflies swam showcase her melancholy yet hopeful state of mind. In the end, she says that she doesn't need any perfect utopia for her and alec, she can have it anywhere, anytime, as long as she's with him. This came to me from Utopia, Shakespeare and a ton of other shit. It is actually a future piece of my other story of renselec, I'm a falling star, but it can be read as an independent piece. My little Utopia
I had a dream of an island made for two
It had a house which was made for two
I went in, then I swam out, but I couldn't see a thing
I dreamed of pretty butterflies swimming in a lake
I ran on the clouds, I flew in the sea,
I touched the fish dreaming in their ecstasy
They said, They'd seen you, coming here twice,
So I tried to reach out for you,
but then a star shot out of the ground
and flew right into my eyes
It showed me dreams of a new life and new joys abundant in ecstasy
I reached out, but I couldn't see, couldn't touch
couldn't feel myself. I was lost in this world of light
And then I found you saying my name on your lips
and we sang together
staring the the fish flying away
Just you and me in a world where
Gilded butterflies they swim in the sea,
where the oceans are pure white,
and the coral is beautiful,
and sand is black to touch,
we'll always stay in the sea,
cause the sand is too hot to tread
and the trees have all burnt black
And with our charred souls, we'll stay in
this isle, which made for two, too good to be true.
