I think the girls are hiding something. No, I know the girls are hiding something. Something big. I just can't put my finger on it.

I remember questioning them the first week of school this year. Everything seemed so rehearsed, like they had practiced what to say to the cops. Almost like it was scripted; like they can't let us know something about her disappearance. They all said the same exact words as last year.

I know these girls can keep secrets. Staying in the same house as Hanna Marin just for a few days, I can tell she can lie. I know Hanna never told the other girls about Ashley and I, and she never even hints at it when I am around with them. In fact, I don't even think she told them about coming to the station the night Alison's body was found. Speaking of Hanna, she is a shoplifter. She knows how to sneak around. Though she got caught once, but who knows how many times she has shoplift. So she walks around wearing her stolen items, pretending nothing is wrong. Just the same as she would be able to walk around pretending she knows nothing about Alison's disappearance.

Spencer Hastings is tense whenever Alison comes into discussion. Very tense. The fact that she walked out a little while after Alison on the night she disappeared gets me wondering. What had she seen? Alison could not have gone that far in that short time between the time she left the barn and when Spencer walked out after her.

The angry letter Emily Fields wrote to Alison also concerns me. Just three days before she disappeared, Emily wrote the letter. She felt all of this hate to Alison for rejecting her, who knows how angry she could have gotten. Emily was also at the memorial the night it was trashed, claiming it was like that when she got there. Then why didn't she tell the other girls it was trashed? They did spend so much time on it; you would think she would've told them that night.

Word gets around in Rosewood, and I know all about Aria Montgomery hiding her father's affair from everyone. The fact she could hide such a secret, and so easily with most likely the fact she would never tell her mother gets me wondering if that is a small secret to her. No one I know, and especially not a sixteen year old, would be able to keep that in and not blurt it out to anyone.

But what I am most confused about is the girls and Jenna Marshall. It is hard not to notice the looks on the girls' faces whenever Jenna is in the room. The first time I saw these looks was at Alison's funeral, when they all turned around looking terrified. They look at Toby Cavanaugh the same way. Jason DiLaurentis also told me they were reluctant to have Jenna speak at the memorial, and that they seemed relieved after Jenna made her speech, almost like she was going to say something about them.

I'm not done with this case, and I will figure out what these girls are hiding.
