The Truth of Love

'Gosh he's handsome.' I think to myself as I return my gaze to my potion. We are brewing veritaserum and I know I am going to fail. I am too distracted by the blond-haired, blue-eyed boy sitting next to me. I risk another peek.
"Mr. Potter. Pay attention to the potion you have in front of you." I glare at Professor Snape. My bright green eyes meet Snape's cold black ones. They lock for a few moments then he turns away. "Ten points from Gryffindor." I sigh and turn back to my potion.
At the end of class, Snape walks over to me. "Mr. Malfoy." He calls to the boy sitting next to me. "I believe Mr. Potter wants to try his potion on you. Come here." Malfoy stands and walks around the table. I know i have to give him some of my potion so I ladle some out and give it to him.
"Before you drink the potion you must know that Mr. Potter may ask you any and all the questions he wishes." Malfoy looks worried. "You may drink it, Mr. Malfoy." Malfoy drinks the potion. I wair a minute before asking him the question I have wanted to know since after my defear of Voldemort in out first year.
"Draco." Everyone gasps at my casual use of his first name. "Do you know that I love you?" I ask calmly. Malfoy looks up. "Yes." He replies. He gets a look of longing in his eyes. "I must know," I begin another question. "If you feel the same way."
"Yes, Harry. I love you too." That was all the invitation I needed. I run around the tableand grasp him in a tight hug. He returns it much to my surprise and delight. Draco pulls back a little. My bright, green eyes clash with his slate blue eyes. I lean forward slightly. Draco closes the gap and closes his lips around mine. Going deeper into the kiss we are both oblivious to the clapping and didn't hear Snape when he said "Finally."
