Solitary Darkness and Light
I've always been alone.
The feel of fear hounding me,
I wish to put my back to the wall,
But there are no walls.
I feel so small, so cold.
I sit in darkness, in silence.
My own thoughts are all there is.
No one comes, no one cares.
I've never felt the supposed warm light of love.
I've never been held close, or comforted.
All I've ever know was unkindness,
Glares of hatred,
And backs turned in disgust.
Then, I met you.
You moved into my darkness,
Carrying your own darkness like a cloak.
You sat apart, but you were there.
I found Solace in even the slightest interaction with you.
You were my light, and I was yours.
Now, you are gone, but I'm not alone.
I may never have the warm arms to hold me,
But my loneliness is gone.
There are others who invite me into their worlds.
I will miss you, Sasuke.
But now I have Iruka, Kakashi, Shikimaru,
And al the other ninja in my life.
They do not frown at me,
Wishing me dead,
They do not hold me either,
But neither did you.
I will wait for you to return,
And I will welcome you to this world,
I'll hold you close,
And you'll hold me,
And we can be together,
Forever, Just you and me.
