Hey everyone! I hope you guys are doing great, and enjoying vacation time. Well I thought of this story as I was re watching "Launch Party" from season 4. It just drove me crazy that we couldn't hear what Jim whispered to Pam (aside from the Dwight stealing the leads from Staples) ha-ha. Anyways, on with the excitement!
Lend Me An Ear-(Jim's Pov)
I whisk myself out of my chair as I reply to Michael's arrogance. "Alright, let me just say good-bye to Pam" As if I told him where a pile of gold was hidden he immediately has a field day. "Oh yeah, you'd better. You better say good-bye to Pam. Say good-bye to Pam. Byyyyyye. I love you….." I blank out the rest as I walk up to Pam and lean over the counter. Just feeling her warmth makes me wish I didn't have to leave her.
I feel her lean up into me, and I almost just want to lean down and kiss her. Our magic maybe be dimmed a little bit by the public but it's certainly not gone. I want her just as much as when I told her that I loved her outside the warehouse. Nothing's changed for me, well of course Michael's more deep, intrusive jokes are an add on the cake for every morning Pam and I come in.
I whisper gently into her ear, "A certain Dunder Mifflin Sales Representative is using illegal leads from Staples" I mus\ter up a very soft between us chuckle. She holds on tight and keeps her fast straight, knowing by now how to pull off a serious face, even if it's terribly cute when she lets a giggle or two out by accident.
Her silent smile keeps me going, lost track of anything else around me. "Oh and if I don't make it back tonight, I love you and dinner sounded great"
This time she did chuckle and smiled up at me as I walked with Michael out the main door. I turn to give her one more smile and I find her eyes.
Her eyes speak of so much I almost have to look away. A loving smile from her and a soft wink is all it takes, and my heart melts in my chest. I wink back and grin. She turns away first, knowing full that I was going to keep staring at her until I fully closed the door.
I walk towards the elevator, catching up with Michael. "This is nice" he says in a horrible yet talented Borat voice. I sigh and turn to the doors of the elevator as they close. It's going to be a long night.
I hope you enjoyed this little scoop of Jamcream ;)
