"Can't hurt me. Not weak anymore."
"That's right. "
"Strong. Slayer."
"Angel."
I take a sharp breath of unneeded air, it's spoken the same way my Slayer says it. I look up at the broken girl trying to understand.
"You promised you wouldn't leave me, forever that's the whole point. Here I am all alone with no you, alone to die on this tower."
I struggle to stand trying not to let her words affect me as she steps inches from me. I'm powerless as I watch tears roll down her cheeks, and as I turn to dust the last thing I see is Buffy's pained face begging me to stay.
