"Eggsellent going," John teased as Rodney nearly dropped the object he'd been studying. He grinned as Rodney looked up and glared at him.

"Really, Sheppard, enough with the "egg" words already," Rodney said with a groan. "Why don't you go spare with Teyla? It's been a while since she kicked your butt around the gym."

Smirking, John replied, "Already did that this morning. Not eggsactly my idea of a good time." He'd been at it for the past hour, changing words to add egg to the beginning at every opportunity. Easter was only a few days away and the object that Rodney had found, and had been attempting, to open for three days looked very much like a brightly colored giant Easter egg to him.

Rodney rolled his eyes and looked back to his work.

Unable to resist, John began again. "You're so eggcitable, Rodney. I knew you'd be eggstatic about this eggciting find. Someday you may even figure out what it does."

Seeing Rodney get even more flustered and deciding he'd had enough fun with Rodney for the morning -and knowing he should really get back to his reports-, John turned and left the lab, leaving the scientist, grumbling about "immature colonels and their lame jokes", behind.
