A young woman walked in the hallways. Her blonde hair flowed as she walked. She wore a brown blouse with white slacks, and black heels. The woman entered in an office. The office was an empty space. There were only windows, and mahogany desk in front of it. A man sat behind the desk. He was a pudgy fellow wearing a buttoned shirt, and brown pants.
"Hello, Ms. Ashford", the man greeted.
"Hello there, Mr. Heinreich", the woman said.
"Could please sit down?"
The woman sat down in the other chair few spaces from the desk.
"Ms. Ashford, I have a story for you. A story that will make you become the number one news reporter in all Japan."
"What do you mean?"
Mr. Heinreich smiled.
"I mean a twenty-four episode miniseries that will featuring the most famous politician, Zero!"
"What!"
"Think about it. Many people want to know about Zero. After all, he took down one of the most horrendous person on the planet, and still lives in the shadows. I want you to bring him toward to the light."
"That's sounds great sir, but in a realistic sense Zero wouldn't have the time of day to sit down for an interview."
"Which is why I requested Empress Nunnally to send down him here. She agreed, and Zero will be here for a year."
Ms. Ashford sighed. She love to decline this offer, but that would be too idiotic to do so. First, she was Mr. Heinreich's favorite reporter. She only have been there for less than six months, but Heinreich loved her style. Second, if she interviewed the most elusive person on the planet, it will boost her career.
"Fine, I will interview Zero", Ms. Ashford decided.
"I knew you would come through", Heinreich said.
Both shook their hands.
Zero hated it. He hated the hotel room. The room looked the same as his room in the palace, but still loathed it. The politician was not near the empress. Anything could have happened. A gunshot, a kidnapping, and even a small innocent could breach the empress's security. Zero was supposed to be Nunnally's eternal protector, not the media's eternal pleasure. The man sighed as he laid in his bed. This was his empress's wish for him to be here, and he could not argue about it.
