Warning: HBP spoiler-ish. So if you haven't read Half Blood Prince yet, don't read unless you don't care.
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter.

Draco ran as fast as he could. He tried with all his might not too look back. Thoughts were racing through his mind. The faster he ran the more confused he became.
The green light flashed before him again. He'd never seen anyone kill before. In a brief second the bumbling old fool fell over, lifeless. He'd never be able to erase the memory from his mind now. It would be with him forever.

They were miles away from Hogwarts now. It was in the middle of the night, even the nocturnal animals were asleep. They made do in a small cave at the bottom of the mountain; the entrance was hidden by trees and shrubbery.
"Draco, you better eat something," Snape offered him some bread. Draco snatch is from Snape's hand in spite. "Well we're not going to live very long if you don't cooperate with me." Draco didn't care. He would give anything to be somewhere else. Because of Snape, they were both on the run.
"Right, I'm going to cooperate with the man who ruined my life." Draco folded arms and turned his back to Snape.

Somewhere in between, Draco dozed off. "Mfuthurr," Draco mumbled in his sleep and drooled some. Something warm was around him. Warm lips kissed his forehead and gently patted him on the back. Draco let go of himself and drifted off even further.
Everything around him was hazy, but Draco recognized the place immediately. The dreary spacious foyer and the dark feeling one got when they entered. He was home.
In the corner was Draco's mother, Narcissa. She was cowering and sniveling. "Mother!" Draco ran over to his mother's side. "What's wrong? Where's father?" Narcissa couldn't hear him though and she couldn't see him either as draco soon found out. "Mother!"
There was a sudden loud bang and footsteps were thundering down the hall. It was Mr. Weasley. "Weasle's father? What's he doing here?" Draco stood up and was furious. He wanted to know what was going on. Mr. Weasley too could not see nor hear Draco.
"Mrs. Malfoy, I'm afraid we'll have to search your house for possession of any suspicious dark artifact." Mr. Weasley took off his hat, "and I am here to inform you that we've taken your husband into custody. We are now holding him in Azka-"
"Shut up!" screeched Narcissa, "I know very well that you mudblood lovers have taken him hostage."
"Draco, Draco!" shouted a familiar voice. Draco moved around and finally opened his eyes.
"Snape?"
"Wake up, it's time we left."
-
This time they walked.
"I don't understand why we can't apparate," Draco complained as he kicked a rock.
"Oh and perhaps we could if someone had taken their Apparation test."
"Well-" Draco kept quiet. He didn't want to tell Snape that he'd blown off the test to work on his plan to kill Dumbledore, which failed completely.
"And remember, Draco, it was your fault. So don't you ever dare blame me again."
A/N: My first try at a one-shot. It was very interesting. I don't think I had much of a plot. It was kind of random. Should I continue it or make a sequel?
