It's moments like this that Levi lives for, standing on Erens feet while they slow dance in their tiny apartment though the music being played wasn't suited for dancing like this it fit the mood perfectly Eren singing lowly in his ear, while levis head laid on his shoulder.Levi would probably never admit it, not out loud anyway that hearing Eren sing was one of the most beautiful sounds he'd ever heard, his voice was low in his throat deep, calm and soothing and the sound of the rain outside just made it ten times better. Spinning in a circle Eren wrapped his arms tighter around Levis waist, if he was to die right now he thought he would die the happiest man on earth. That's when the power went out, it was common with the storms here yet they still kept dancing, in small slow circles on the living room floor.
"Well, let the poets cry themselves to sleep and all their tearful words will turn back into steam" Eren continued to sing
"You know Eren" he spoke "I've always wanted to go to Maine I was told that it's beautiful in the fall"
Eren paused, while he listened to Levi talk "Go on"
"Even the coast line is breathtaking, what would you say to going on a trip in October? And I don't know let's say get married"
Erens breathing hitched Levi noted
"Are you asking me what I think you're asking me Levi?" even at a moment like this he still couldn't give Levi a straight forward answer.
"That's what I would be implying yes, so what'da say Eren, will you marry me?" Stepping off Erens feet pulling a golden band from his pocket.
Waiting the three minutes it took Eren to give Levi his response felt like a life time.
"What do you think? "He asked handing Levi his left hand "of course I'll marry you." The kiss that ensued afterwards was slow and passionate as Levi found his place again on Erens feet.
They started up where they left off, slowly dancing moving towards their bedroom door.
