After everything the last few days, Merlin just wanted to be fired. He told Arthur that Cedric couldn't be trusted, but he was just 'jealous' and 'lazy'. Hah, how many times has he almost died for Arthur? Now the prat just wants to keep going on like always. Like he didn't fire Merlin.
Merlin didn't want any part of Arthur right now. But no, Arthur was his destiny. So when he was offer back his job, he took it. The next few weeks was tense, but he kept on smiling. No one could know how much he hated his job.
