Lucy gives Lola a new doll on her birthday, and the little diva unknowingly gets more than she realizes with this doll.
It was an ordinary day in the Loud House, and everyone was doing their own little things. Lola was practicing for an upcoming pageant when she heard a knock on her door.
"Lana, would you be a dear and get the door?"
"Pssh, no way." Scoffed the mud lover, who was currently busy feeding her numerous pets.
"Why not?" Lola asked in a rather whiny tone.
"Because I'm feeding my pets! Why don't you go get it?" Lana responded in frustration.
"Why do you have so many pets to feed?!" Lola replied. The twins briefly glared at each other before the knocking resumed, slightly louder than the previous one.
"Just come in!" The two yelled. The door opened to reveal Lucy, holding a rectangular present in her hand.
"Oh, it's you," Lola said, lowering her eyelids to show an expression of disappointment. "What do you need Lucy, and what's in the box?" Lana chimed in.
"I come with a gift from me and the spirits," She tore the paper open to reveal a rather cute doll: blue eyes, pretty blonde hair, cute dress, accessories, the works. "A doll."
Of course, Lola squealed like a school girl hearing the latest boy band's "new hits of the season". Lana, however, contrasted with a simple eye roll. "What'd you get that ugly thing?"
"That ugly thing is for Lola, and I didn't get it. A teacher at school gave it to me, and I am giving it to Lola because it doesn't soothe my taste." Lana stopped caring around the beginning of Lucy's explanation, but the goth didn't stop explaining because of her. Lola didn't care about any reason. All she cared about was the beautiful doll that was held before her.
Lola took the box from the goth's hands and hugged it tight. Though she didn't show it, the goth warmed up from the site.
"Thank you, Lucy!" Lola said gleefully.
"Anytime I get a doll like that, be sure to know I'll give it to you." Before she could utter another word, she found herself being pushed out of the room by Lola.
"Okay, bye!" Before, the princess could close the door, the goth held it open to deliver one final warning. "WAIT! There is something you should know about that doll. It's-"
"Really ugly and boring and annoying to talk about!" Lana yelled from her bed. She walked over to the door and closed it in Lucy's face. The goth, of course, did nothing but shake her head as she walked back to her room. "Their funeral."
Lynn was sitting on her bed, relaxing after a tough day at the field. All of a sudden, she heard a blood-curdling scream that sounded out throughout the whole house. In no time flat, the entire family was in the doorway of the room of the source: The twins' room.
Lana and Lola were cowering in the fear in the corner, feet away from the doll. The doll's head was completely turned around and her right arm was lifted up.
"What happened?!" Lori asked worriedly.
"T-Th-The doll!"
"What about it?!" Lincoln asked.
"IT MOVED!"
"Impossible." Lisa chimed in. "The doll is incapable of becoming sentient and moving on its own."
"Then how do you explain that?!" The twins yelled, pointing at the now walking doll. Its left eye was rolled back into its socket and both of its arms were sticking up. This was enough to send everyone - Lucy included - running out of the house, screaming.
The doll turned to the viewer, formed a creepy smile, and waved, before walking off-screen, ominously slow.
