"R - Rin-chan…" Hanayo pleaded, but if was too late; she was already in a deep sleep.
Her hair was short, but long enough that orange locks covered the entirety of her lap, messily, like flames. Her face was buried in Hanayo's stomach, breath tickling the small sliver of skin that her shirt failed the cover when it had ridden up against the bench.
Rin was always rather cat-like, but this was going overboard– she actually decided to take a nap on Hanayo's lap.
Rin's hair was tickling her, her legs were going numb, she couldn't do so much as bounce her leg, but what bothered her the most was how embarrassing it was. Hanayo was seated on a bench and Rin was laying down, utilizing her lap as a pillow. This was something, dare she think it, that couples did.
Ahh, her cheeks flushed at just the thought of it. Oh, but, she was certain Rin probably didn't think of it like that! She probably was just tired and wanted to genuinely take a nap! After all, the group had practiced a lot that week and Hanayo was slightly chubby, so her legs probably looked like a better pillow than her shoulder or something.
...The thought of her and Rin being a couple wasn't that farfetched, was it? It could work, right? Despite the fact they were both girls, that is– But, was that really important?
Wait, wait, why was she even thinking about this?!
Suddenly, she became extremely red-faced embarrassed over her own thoughts and covered her face, a small squeal leaving her throat.
"Mm…?" A tired groan escaped the sleeping girl and she rolled over just enough to look up at her designated pillow, "What's wrong, Kayo-chin?"
"Wah," Hanayo somehow became even redder, but for what? "N - nothing at all!"
"You're pretty red, nya…" she mumbled, letting the two of them fall into a rather awkward silence–
Or, maybe Hanayo was the only one feeling awkward, since Rin just looked confused.
A cat-like grin formed on Rin's lips, "We look kinda like a couple, don't we, nya?"
Hanayo had lost all her senses, so when she tried to stand, Rin went rolling onto the concrete ground. Even with Rin's playful scolding, passersby thought they looked sort of couple-y, too.
