Hunting games
(A similar hunger games like story, with more to it.)
Its going to be a bad day. I can just feel it. David says as he lies in his bed. David got up and went to take a shower. David lives on the island of Hubando (Hue-Bahn-Doo). While in the shower, David thought to himself. "Why are we doing this?", "I hope I Don't get picked on my first year in this.", "the gods ain't real, so why bother.". The island David lives on is part of a chain of five islands. Hubando, Equilmo, Lanto, Luxis, and Limantu. (E-quil-mo, Lon-to, Lux-is, and Lim-on-tu). *Every 2 years, the five islands send 5 boys, and five girls to a battle arena on the sixth island which is nothing but a wasteland. They consider this a sacrifice to the gods, and the winning island gets to become supreme ruler until another island wins.
"Welcome to the 184th lottery of The Hunting Games." Emperor Henry said in his bold voice. "As tradition, I will read the following words our ancestor's spoke." " We come to celebrate the victory over the kwontimu people thanks to the help of our gods. In honor of them helping us, we will draw sacrifice. The five boys, and five girls chosen will have the honor of having the chance of seeing our gods first and thanking them for all they have given us." Henry read. *"Now my servants will call you up 1 by 1 and you'll pick a paper out of the container. If it is blank. The gods have not chosen you. But if you have a red dot on it, step on up with honor and represent our home island, and fight for the gods!"
"This is the first time this has happen in history! The last ten slips are all the chosen ones! Well, we'll call you up and take pride in being chosen." Henry said.
*"How!" David whispered with frustration. "It my first year eligible for this, and some people have been in this drawing for 10 years!
*" Jade, Kevin, Abby, Luke, Chu, Brad, Chloe, Brett,Skylar, and David." Henry bellowed. (While the following 10 walk up to the podium) "Let's have a hand for these brave sacrifices." Henry walks up to the ten of them and talks in a low voice: " Now, I Want you all to train real hard. The other four islands have their ten sacrifices volunteer, not drawn." The ten of them look at one another nervously as Henry walks away.
