"446, 447, 448..." Lee said, sweating while doing one-handed push-ups, the other hand was on his back. Gai was right next to him, doing push-ups as well. "Come on,Lee! You can't be showing that you want to quit! Keep going!" Lee was already tired, and he was feeling like he could use a break, so he sat down on a log and drank some water. "You know what? I am not as youthful as I was, maybe I can take a little break." Gai-Sensei said, sitting next to him and drinking some of his own water bottle that said "Youth!" Lee wiped his brow as he looked out the horizon and saw the setting sun. " Gai-Sensei.., we should go, it's about night time and I would like to go home and change my bandages out for new ones." Lee yawned, and got up. Gai took out bandages out of his pouch and grabbed Lee's arm.
"Gai-Sensei, I want to put them on myself-" Lee began, but Gai began to unwrap his bandages. After he unwrapped Lee's bandages, Gai looked at Lee's arms, seeing the scars from training himself way too hard. Gai chuckled to himself at this sight. Gai looked at the scars, as he traced his eyes down Lee's arm, until he saw something that seemed liked a dream.
The scar looked old, and looked like that it was left intentionally. The scar looked sloppy, looking like it was done out of desperation, like cutting was going to help somehow. Gai was stunned, he knew that the bullies effected Lee's moral,but he didn't know...
Gai then started blaming himself for not noticing that Lee need help earlier at the Ninja Academy. Maybe,just maybe, he could've stopped him trying to do... what he did to himself. Lee then knew that Gai found out what he did to himself. "Gai-sensei... " Lee hid his face in embarrassment; now Gai-sensei would treat him less of a man and more of someone that needs care. "Lee.." Gai said, as he brag Lee's arm up to his lips and kissed the scar. "Gai-sensei, that scar is ugly and just reminds me of my past and how I let the bullies get to me-" Gai chuckled. "Well, I think it is beautiful. All of your scars are. Now lets wrap your arms up." Gai wrapped Lee's arm with new bandages and patted him on the back. Lee grinned his usual grin and got up and excitedly got up after Gai was done. "Gai-sensei! Lets go eat at the curry restaurant!" Lee said as he ran to their favorite curry restaurant. Gai grinned as his youthful behavior. "Right!" Lee and Gai ran towards their favorite curry restaurant.
