"Stupid Hormones"

Hey peoples. This is based on a scene of Light My Take by Janethonfire (Which I recommend you read but is not necessary to understand this. I ts kind of stupid I know but I think you might like it.

Disclaimer: Really I don't own anything not even the idea maybe the plot line. Thanks Janethonfire for allowing me to do this. And MG for giving us both this world to play with.

Diana Pov

The sun was starting to set the ocean as still as it ever was in the FAYZ with a slight breeze causing tiny rippers in the water. Diana found it amazing that something could be so beautiful in a place so dark and gloomy as the FAYZ.

Diana was on another one of her breaks from her job cleaning and preparing the fish that came in. So they could be distributed throughout the Town and Lake.

Her hands ached and she hardly could stand up because of cramps.

Her co-workers never seemed to mind about how many breaks she took, maybe because Sam had bribed them but she wasn't sure. A part of her wanted to believe that felt any sympathy for her but she demolished that thought as soon as it had came.

She had been offered many times before to quit her job, at least until the baby was born. But she couldn't stand the thought it made her feel dependent, on the wrong person.

She had pursued herself that she was doing it for the greater good because once the baby is born she would have to work twice as hard to support the two of them. So she would just work as hard as possible now and not later.

But it was still painful.

Once Diana came back from her short break she found her entire crew crowded around one of the wooden tables.

"What is it?' She asked.

One of the younger girls working there turned to look at her.

She was smiling broadly, "The catch of the day. No Ever!" She squealed with delight and stepped aside to let her see.

Diana couldn't believe her eyes. A huge 7ft long fish that could easily weight 200lbs was staring up blankly at her.

"Wow," She whispered.

"I know!" The young girl yelled, "lets get working."

Everyone else started shuffling around finding knives and other equipment but Diana was glued where she stood.

"So. Much. Food." She said blankly.

"What?' Asked the girl a hint of laughter present in her voice.

Diana ignored her and instead started walking around the big fish. Touching the smooth scales of its back.

"beautiful, beautiful dish." Her voice cracked and Diana started to cry.

"Diana? Are you okay?" The girl asked serious now. Everyone else had stopped what they were doing to watch the scene unroll.

Diana slid to the floor against the wall. She rested her head against her knees her inflated stomach acting like a barrier between her knees and chest.

"What is it? The girl asked again.

"Its- so big." Diana sobbed.

"You don't want it to be big?" Asked the girl gently.

"No... bi good -food" Diana sobbed even harder not able to contain herself.

"Diana maybe you should go home for today. We'll take care fish."

Diana didn't say anything but she let the girl help her up and walk her home.

Diana was still thinking about the fish as they walked and regretted not taking a bite of it.
