One shot

Im just going to be doing one shot so they away from the plot line sort of.

"What do we do with these ones I mean there harmless" Stephen said to Nick

"I don't know I mean should really just get it through the anomaly" Nick replied

A little group of baby diplodocus wandered about in a little pen they set up until they found the anomaly which wasn't in sight. Ryan and a team of Special Forces soldiers were out looking for it.

"How are they doing" Claudia said from behind the group. Nick almost let his mouth drop at the sight of her; she was wearing a bright red shirt and black jacket and trousers.

"There fine Captain Ryan is out looking for the anomaly" Abby replied as Nick was struggling to talk.

"Great this should be a simple clean up" Claudia said brightly

"I just remembered I have to go and find my phone just in case someone calls" Stephen said and looked at the others knowingly.

"Oh yeah I need to get something from the car, Conner ill need your help" Abby said quickly

"Hey but I was going to" Conner was cut off by a stare from Abby.

The three of them departed leaving Nick and Claudia alone with the dinosaurs.

"You look, nice" Nick said quickly

"Thank you nick, you don't look so bad yourself" Claudia replied smiling

"You think wearing white jeans, a black jacket and ruffled hairs looks good" Nick replied in his mild Scottish accent.

Claudia's heart fluttered, she loved his voice and is humour.

"Im sure you look good in anything" Claudia played along.

"You'd be surprised" Nick laughed.

Claudia laughed with him. They fell silent only the little chewing of the dinosaurs eating the grass was heard.

"Back at the house when those things were attacking us" Claudia began.

"Erm yes what about it" Nick said nervously expecting the worse

"You kissed me, on the lips" Claudia replied smiling

"I ... I know" Nick stammered. Claudia was taking small steps towards Nick who seemed not to notice. Claudia had to be strong she needed to let nick know how she felt. She stopped in front off him, Nick looked at her, he was a bit taller than her, his blue eyes looked confused at her.

He was about to say something when she pressed her lips softly against his, they broke apart for a second before going into a more rough and passionate kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck.

Nick shocked returned the kisses holding her hips, there kiss was powerful if anyone walked in now it would be hard to explain.

Just Nicks luck, Stephen, Ryan and the Special Forces team walked in to tell them they had found the anomaly. Nick and Claudia jumped apart quickly, Claudia smoothed her jacket down after the kisses they shared it was a bit ruffled.

"We found the anomaly" Ryan said trying to keep a straight face.

Claudia's face was growing very very red.

"That's good news Ryan, Stephen take the little ones through please" Nick said

"Ok nick will do" Stephen said with a smirk and left with Ryan and his team.

Claudia stood with her back turned to Nick.

"That was awkward" was all she said, she turned to talk to him but was pulled into a pleasing kiss. She groaned quietly against his mouth, closing her eyes she returned his kiss roughly. He turned and pushed her against the wall.

She held his shoulders strongly. Her jacket was bunched up again, Nick would have to learn not to do that.
