There is so much to say. Now I know what they mean when they say Hindsight is 20/20. I bet they didn't know hindsight could be a jail sentence. I want to tell him Sometimes in life we have to make difficult decisions. The heart betrays us into believing we are doing the correct thing. Years later we lament those evaluations. What can be the right thing is not always the right path for the heart. Those decisions are called life. How we deal with those decisions is called character. I heard him say two to beam up." I then felt my heart tear as it had never done so before. I wanted to hold his hand one last time. But that was Kathryn. I knew as soon as we got back on the bridge I had to be the Captain instead. I uttered those words that would forever more be my prison sentence…
