I'm trying something different here, I am totally stepping out of my comfort zone and plan to make this a story of drabbles. I don't have a defined plan, but we will see how it goes. Hope you enjoy

"Stevens can vouch for me," Addison said stunning her husband.

"What?"

"I was with Meredith last night, that's why I didn't come home." He still looked confused. "We're sort of friends." She explained. She didn't want to tell him that. She wanted to keep her undefined relationship with Meredith hers. It wasn't supposed to be a secret, it was simply supposed to be hers.

"Since when?" He asked.

"After Christmas," she could tell that he wanted to know more. She gnawed at her lower lip as she carefully considered her words. "Meredith is awfully insightful after a few margaritas." Addison didn't elaborate further, but Derek's expression encouraged her. He wasn't angry. "We had a moment, it's," Addison was grasping for the right word.

"Complicated?" Derek finished and Addison nodded and offered a weak smile in response. "I'm not mad Addie, I just worry about you." That was the sweetest thing he'd said to her in a very long time.

She didn't want him to worry, but she was broken.
