Bittersweet: A song sung by the popgroup STEPS before they split. A memory by Tailmon about her love of Wizarmon and a small piece of her life with Vamdemon. Just a small something to get be back into writing again after having writers block for what has seemed forever!
Bittersweet memories
That's all I'll take with me.
No matter what I know now I'll get by.
I sit with my partner Hikari Yagami. She is the only one left in my life. My lover gone killed by my old master, Vamdemon the Dark Prince, the Demonic Vampire. I still wonder if I'd have never found out that i was the 8th Digimon.
I watch the trees loose autumn leaves,
I see them blowing in the breeze,
Images falling through my mind.
Floating outside time.
I love the Autumn and Winter. Me and Wizarmon used to sit and talk so much of our love. Sat in front of a blazing fire. We see the master on his balcony staring down disapprovingly.
Open the window feel the cold,
Snowflakes in silver and in gold,
And the light fades away into dark,
like my heart.
How I loved Wizarmon. His calm expression never seeming to fear Vamdemon as did. He had paid an awful price for his love of me. Vamdemon had heard him say he loved me. Vamdemon whipped him with his Crimson Lightning. His tears pain were shared by me as i had to watch. The cruel grin on Vamdemon's face with each lash. Those cold unforgiving eyes staring at his victim. I was next to face punishment. That night we were placed in separate areas of the castle. I know i cried again.

The spring arrives with it more tasks. We are slowly driven apart. How i miss him. My heart breaking without him. Tears slowly fill my eyes as i hear Vamdemon saying what he'd done to him today. More punishment and there isn't a single thing i can do to help my friend...no my lover. Someday we'll be together...
Now the same leaves are young and green,
So many colours fill my dreams,
And seeds of hope will bloom with love.
A promise of brighter days to come,
Rainbows are dancing, clear blue skies,
Waterfalls glisten in my eyes.
Every day the sun makes a new start,
Like my heart.
Plans have started for the search for an eighth Digidestined Child. My love of Wizarmon hasn't changed even though i show dislike for him in front of Vamdemon. We have to get by no matter what.

But i know I've lost him forever since he saved my life by sacrificing his. Words didn't need to be spoken we knew what was in each others hearts. I became an Angel to guide his way to heaven and to send Vamdemon to hell for his crimes. I realise that things in my life were supposed to happen the way they did. I walked on the wrong path in my search for Hikari but ended up on the right one after all even though it did cost me so much.
Now and then we can all lose our way,
Tomorrow's gonna bring a better day,
And I can see that finally you're free.
Still I know he is out there still watching me.
