From the Waters in the Dark

Breath. I need to breathe. Can't die. Not yet.

*a loud scream parted a set out light blue lips, but only let loose bubbles of air, escaping quickly to the surface, a sad, fearful pair of silver eyes fell back, closing, and the water above her started to part, the water under her pushing her up, towards a raging sky of anger. As she surfaced, she inhaled deeply, and started treading water*

Anyone who came across her in the water would think she was a mermaid. The girl, roughly around fourteen through seventeen, had icy blue hair, highlighted by silver streaks, and tipped in white, even wet it hung tightly in curls. Her face was pale, made even whiter from the cold of the water. She had several silver spots on her cheeks. She had blue eye shadow on, but the water had spread it across her face, her lips were by fare the most pathetic thing about her, they were as blue and cold as death. As cold as the death that played with her right now.

"You won't get me." *Reaching behind her, the girl grabbed onto a small device, and pressed a button, which started flashing with a red light* "Please hurry."

*Bleep* *bleep*
