I do not own Tracie Thoms or Idina Menzel, and as stated in Fanzel's Thomzel fic, these are not the real orientations.

Idina walked into the apartment she shared with Tracie, and shrugged out of her coat, and took off her scarf, snow falling from her long brown tresses. She slipped out of her boots, and into her slippers. She smiled as she took in the scent of her apartment. She smelled food, so Tracie must have been cooking while Idina was in Wicked tonight.

On the bedroom door there was a note from Tracie, saying she ran a bath for her, and for her to get in. Idina enjoyed her bath. Meanwhile, Tracie slipped into their bedroom and set out some lounging clothes for her hardworking fiancée. She left another note telling Idina to go to the dining room after changing.

Idina got out of the shower, and followed her instructions, and went in the dining room. On the table there was a candlelight dinner set up, with dinner, and a bottle of white wine. Tracie came up behind Idina and hugged her, whispering sweet nothings in her ear.

Finally the two women sat down to dinner, having casual conversation, and flirting. When they finished, Tracie cleared the table, and lead Idina to the couch, where she had a movie set up to watch. The mocha woman sat on the couch, with her back against the armrest, and pulled her lover to sit between her legs with her back to her. Tracie then began to rub all of the tension out of her lover's shoulders. She chuckled and said "Dee, that lift they have you on for Defying Gravity isn't treating your back very well, is it baby?" Dee just chuckled and shook her head.

At the end of the movie, Tracie led Idina to the bedroom, where the two cuddled to sleep. Just before sleep overtook them, Dee slurred out "Okay, Trace, you should be in charge of date night every week."
