A Candle in the Darkness

– Yoda's Reflections

Watched you grow a long time, I have, young one.

For adventure, you look up to the stars,

Past the desert sky with more than one sun,

For never is your mind on where you are.

So eager, you are, to learn of the light.

Yet always with you things can't be done; why?

Hard, it is, to follow the path that's right;

You must do or do not; there is no try.

I know that patience with you I must seek,

As I teach you how to embrace the light.

A candle in the darkness you must be,

Yet careful as you fight for what is right.

For die, you must not, as did your mother,

Or turn to the darkness, like your father.
