A little story I decided to do, and the gang is little. -'cept Vivi and Eiko, either were probably not alive yet at this point- Of course, this never actually happened, just a little thing to read. -only it's not gonna be so little--actually, it's mostly only Zidane, Garnet, Steiner-for comedy relief- and the Knights of Pluto-also for comic relief--
Age Setting:
Zidane and Garnet[guessing they're near the same age]: 8
Steiner: 6 years minus his original age. [and I have no clue what that is XD]
[[by the way, I'm not writing the whole thing, for I might be wasting time, so just tell me if you want me to continue]
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN FF9 OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS IN SAID GAME.
The Garden Awaits [part of it]
It was another day in the castle, which was almost just as dull as the day before. Garnet laid on her bed, just staring into the ceiling. She knew she could't go outside, guards blocked every door out the house. As big as the castle was, she found nothing to entertain her. Although, a few years back, she brought this up with her Mother, who responded:
"Garnet, in the life of royalty, you must be able to have self-restrain, a good education, and stern leadership. Do you think toys and such which lead you up to be a great leader, the Queen of Alexandria?"
In response, Garnet just shook her head, and went back to the study room. In there, while working, sometimes doodle on the side of the page. Upon the paper were wondrous drawings of what things could lay outside of the city of Alexandria. She drew flowers, animals, even the kind of people were out there. This brought up a question in her mind, which had been bugging her for months. What were the people like on the other side of Alexandria? Would they be like the servants? Would they be the opposite of everyone around her? It was a scary thought that she always toyed with in her mind. But then those scary thoughts were washed away with dreams of exotic creatures and beautiful flowers. These dreams progressed, and so did her desire to see the outside world. The world outisde of her books.
