It was a hard path to ascend, but it was the only way to save the princess.
The princess, who was trapped in the highest tower of the castle, screaming for help, a prisoner of the cruelest villain known to man and betrayed by her very own brother. It was a tragedy and the only knight, who could save her now, was currently struggling to cross the only bridge there was to get to her.
"Pah, I knew it, a poor dumbass like you could never save her. Never, because we're way to cool for you and you don't even get over thi-" Romano abrupt stopped talking, because the blond boy suddenly drew out his sword and started attempts to fight him.
"NO!" Now even Spain, who watched the whole spectacle from save distance began to participate: "No, Romano, don't fight, you're gonna fall down! Romano, I can't catch you, you're too heavy"
"Shut up! I already jumped down from here, it's not even that high. And I'm not heavy, you're just too weak, because you're just as dumb as this potato guy - Hm?!" While Romano tried to convince Spain that he was the bravest knight there was on earth, our little hero took his chance and slipped right past him, the sword still gripped tight.
"Italy, I'm gonna save you!" running faster, with Romano in the rear and France nearly within sight, the Holy Roman Empire was determined to be the saviour of his princess, Italy, whose hair just got abused by France and his red ribbons.
"Holy Roma!" With a sudden movement the young boy broke away from his keeper and fled into the arms of his hero, "Holy Roma, I'm so happy that you're here! France is really scary!"
Even though Holy Roman Empire had now rescued Italy from France, both weren't save yet. They still had to leave the castle, a task, which now, surrounded as they were, seemed to be impossible.
"You better give up! You would never win against the mighty France!" the villian announced, "Prepare for your last battle!"
And Holy Roman Empire took him by his word, "I'm gonna secure Italy, and if it's the last thing I do!" His sword was ready to fight both of them and Italy, who hid under the long black coat of the boy, squint his eyes shut. It was the silence before the storm, before the final battle, the one everything depended on...
"Children, get ready for lunch! Italy, Romano, France, Holy Roma! Lunch is ready!"
Within seconds the kids came down from their castle, France took the slide, Italy dragged Holy Roma down the stairs and Roma, being the cool big boy he was, just jumped down from the platform (and blamed Spain for hurting his feet, but, oh well, somethings never change), and sat on the bench because Finland decided to have lunch outside today.
"Oh, I hope we'll have pasta today! Oh, Holy Roma, I'm happy you saved me, Romano wouldn't even get me pasta and France even wanted me to eat a living snake, can you imagine it?!"
"Prisoners don't get pasta or snakes, all they get is bread and water!" Romano explained, as he scoops tomato salad on his plate, "And France, you shouldn't play with his hair, he's not a real princess after all!"
"But the only real princess there is, is England and he threatens to kill me if I put ribbons in his hair!"
A few metres away from the argument, in the kitchen of the kindergarten, Finland is redecorating the room with help of his colleague, Sweden.
"I really think the jungle gym was a great idea! Look, the kids played on it all day long. Although I'm a bit worried, they seemed to be very passionate about it."
"I'm sure there's no need to worry."
