Henry paced the confines of the cage. He wasn't sure how he had come to be here, one minute he was feeding off a blonde in the back of an alley, and the next thing he knew he was wakening up in this cage. He had heard nothing and felt nothing, meaning whoever got the jump on him was using powerful magic. The cage itself was plain, just bars set into the ceiling reaching to the floor. It wasn't very big, he could only pace five steps in either direction, but at least he could move, and he was alone.

Henry sighed and closed his eyes before sliding down the wall to sit on the floor. After a little while he realized he was being watched and jumped to his feet growling. The demon didn't seem to care that he was growling at him. Granted the demon wasn't stuck in the cage with Henry. Henry felt powerless to prevent anything due to being trapped behind the bars.

"What is this place? What is your business with me?" Henry demanded.

The demon gave him a calculating look before answering.

"You are here because you are a vampire. The demon community has started a new form of entertainment, sticking two of your kind in a caged arena." The demon laughed at Henry's horrified look.

"That's murder!"

"Funny, I never claimed to be human, so why would I call something that is so fun to watch, something as violent as murder?" the demon asked rhetorically.

Henry growled louder just to be laughed at.

"Hector, that is enough! You have others to attend to. Leave us." A female voice said with authority. Hector didn't hesitate to make himself scarce. Henry was almost amused at how afraid of this human girl he seemed. Henry looked her up and down. She wore a t shirt and jeans. With black hair and blue eyes, she even smelled human to him. Though something about her set his instincts into overdrive. There was a magic about her that was old and powerful.

She approached the cage and waited while Henry paced and growled, much like a caged tiger. His eyes never left her as he tried to figure out what she was.

"Nightwalker, you're not going to figure it out. Your old but you have never seen the likes of me. Heard of maybe but most certainly never seen." The girl said low and calm as if somehow she knew that speaking calmly would settle him. He stopped pacing for about a second before continuing.

"What are you?" Henry growled around his fangs.

"Now Nightwalker that is no way to talk to me, I refuse to answer any questions until you calm yourself enough to be polite. I have been polite to you, maybe tell me your name if you don't like Nightwalker." She suggested just as calm as before.

Henry took several breaths and forced himself to calm down; the fact of the matter was he wanted to run from her. She had so much power and he was stuck in the cage. It unnerved him to no end.

"My name is Henry Fitzroy." He said slowly with a slight bow.

"I am Saorsa." She replied with a grin at Henry's shocked expression.

"You are Queen of the demons, I have heard of you. What can I do for you my lady?" Henry asked his inner prince rising to the surface.

"Good, then that means you know nothing about me. Besides being Queen, nothing else you've heard is true. You're a prince aren't you? Son of King Henry if I'm not mistaken." Saorsa said to the stunned vampire.

"Bastard son, but yes I was his."

"He wasn't the nicest man in the world. But by far not the cruelest. At least I know who you are. You won't be put in the arena. No I think I will do something far more personal with you."

"What is that?" Henry asked.

"Make you my nightwalker pet." Saorsa replied happily.
